Making them feel special alienates them just as much as repression does. In my uni, there's a gay guy that everyone knows that makes sure to boast about his homosexuality and his difference. Because of this, people tend to find him a huge pain in the ass (no pun intended), whereas other gays don't make themselves stand out and are appreciated and respected by all.

We don't need a shader or anything dude that's so stupid.... may aswell make shaders for random laws the government pass like it's illegal to download torrented movies off Internet!
