Xbox Won doesn't take 360 headset.
Do I need a new headset? One came with the Xbox Won but it's just the backup one, the ones I have are Turtlebeach X12's and I wanted to use them with the newer console. Is there a way to use them anyway? Can I at least plug in my USB 360 controller?
Also does anyone have game suggestions? I only have ESO so far.

My wireless headset from 360 works. I had to buy an adapter for it though.

Pretty sure its b8, but in the off chance its not either use the one it came with or you have to buy an adapter for 3rd party headsets.

1 ReplyNAH SON NAH In all seriousness, you're going to need an adapter. And why wouldn't you, the xbone being what it is, but still. Basically, anyone who adopted early and bought a better mic in the last year and a half got -blam!-ed. But that's just MS's business model and, to reiterate, this has been their business model for quite some time; at least as long as they claimed that releasing a new model of the 360 counted as actually fixing the RRoD when that "fix" involved having to buy an entirely new console.

7 RepliesEdited by Harbinger: 6/27/2015 5:59:02 AMYoull need the adapter, which is $25, or the new controller which has a plug for a 3.5mm jack. I had to buy the adapter for my Turtle Beach XP500's. Its annoying, but better than the alternative of having buy a whole new $200-$300 headset.

4 RepliesSorry buddy, but the sound mm was buffed up from 360's 2.5 to 3.5, so you will need a new headset, [b][i][u]OR[/u][/i][/b] but a headset adaptor for twenty bucks
