No such thing as a good void weapon
Trying to do the thorn bounty but can't get any kills because void weapons suck, point blank with the sword breaker and your target doesn't even die. Makes absolutely no sense. Please fix the broken crucible

Did mine with void LDR and sword breaker, various void machine guns and rocket launchers. Took ages, but put the effort in and you'll get it.

1 ReplyI FINALLY got swordbreaker yesterday. It complete SHIT in pvp! Damn it's terrible lol. I was out of bounties so i figured i'd get xp in pvp for it. Horrible gun. I'm wondering if that piece of trash is any good in pve. It has no impact compared to my void judgement but the RoF is so much better it's tempting to keep it. Anyway, good luck. i did it with a rare shotty, Truth and no primary. On my hunter. Took a lOOOOOOng time haha

How is this so hard nowadays? Like it's been mentioned, you can re roll a shotty and a pulse rifle until you get void and off you go. Pair that with the truth rocket launcher and voidwalker /defender and you're set. I remember, back in the early days, having to do it with a green fusion rifle that I bought off the gunsmith because I had nothing else lol. That was a fun bounty. I'm not really that good at pvp either.

Chain of orbiks gel is incredible, so is word of crota. The thorn bounty was easy just using a void shotgun though.

Reroll a good shotgun till you get void and range perks. A decent machinegun is better than a RL for more kills overall. Use Voidwalker and you should be OK eventually. Took me about 2 days during IB.

Chain of Orbiks-fell LMG. Great void weapon. Or use a Void sniper and the Truth in Combined Arms matches (more heavy ammo spawns and the maps tend to be larger).

Tip: reforge weapons you like at the vendor (secondary or heavy): damage type changes when reforged... So get a weapon you like, make it void (with ok perks) and get going. Good luck

Got 2 void gozen with final round and that's how I finished all my thorn bounties... was beautiful. Finished about 7 thorn bounties but now I skip on them cuz I already have one on each character.

Don't complain I did it my 2nd week of destiny as a hunter. I had no void primary or subclass. Now a days its cake due to Trails pooping out element primaries that are all OP and and raids that can be solo'd.
