Little brats got what they wanted.
I guess if enough brats get together and complain about 40-60 dollars bungie caves in and gives them what they want. It's really sad when that mindset is tolerated. It's a game to play for fun. If you don't want to pay 60 dollars don't pay it. Now bungie makes it 20 dollars and people are still complaining about it. I bet if I was free the same people would still complain.

Dude. If you are a company and the majority of your customer base indicates your product is overpriced. It's overpriced and you should lower the price to increase sales. It's simple really.

3 RepliesOk... I'm going to say this as clear as I can, because morons like you don't seem to get it. BUNGIE WAS SHAFTING VETERAN PLAYERS WITH TTK. Understand now? Bungie was charging some noob to the game $80 for a replica strange coin, Destiny, all 3 DLCs, a steel book, some little art things, and exotic class items and emotes. Every other player before paid ~$95 for Destiny and just two DLCs. That is a blatant shafting. So no, little brats didn't win anything. The Destiny player base as a whole won something, we showed that we won't take blatant avarice and bullshit like that.

2 RepliesEdited by monkChuck105: 6/27/2015 7:38:47 PMUh they effectively reduced the price of the digital collectors edition from 80 to 60 dollars for those that already own the game and the expansions. 20 only includes the in game extras, the emotes, the class items, the shaders. This is the best Bumgie could do to backtrack, as the ship had already sailed. Those that are complaining are frustrated not so much with the price, but the fact that game content is being stripped out and sold for ridiculous prices. Obviously this isn't new, other games have micro transactions, but this is not the direction many would like to see Destiny go. And with the whole Red Bull thing, now an entire story mission has been removed and requires buying another product, some undefined number of times. I get you don't care, you'll play if it's fun, no matter what the price. But others care about more than themselves, what to convince those in charge that micro transactions are the worst possible thing, especially for a rather expensive game to begin with.
