No, I will not admit that because it is stupid. You admit conservatives believe in a conspiracy to end golf first.

You made a claim, were proved wrong, try to deflect from to topic, and won't admit to being wrong. What comes before the fall? Oh yeah, the pride.
-
Holy shit you are pretentious. You wanna talk about dodging points? Stop dodging mine. So because someone affiliated with the party makes a stupid claim that is what the whole group thinks? Then admit that republicans and conservatives believe the United Nations is attempting to put an end to golf.
-
Admit you're wrong, and I may answer question. Still, one mans claims doesn't equate to 30+ years of leftist claiming the right use "racial code words" or "masking racism with fiscal policy", so I really don't see the point.
-
The right does have a history of being covertly racist. There is no arguing about that. But one guy saying cuts of any kind are racist does it make that point moot.
The right does have a history of being covertly racist. There is no arguing about that. But one guy saying cuts of any kind are racist does it make that point moot.
One guy? I gave you 3 different sources on 3 different topics and there's more than that out there, and your first statement backs up my original statement. I love the left strategy though, you just say someone's a secret racist, then twist their words to fit an agenda, but it almost sounds like the left is projecting their own racist views onto others to me.
-
Holy hell, you are ignorant. Why debate politics with someone who doesn't have a clue what they talk about? The conservative right isn't secretly anything. It is established that the right is the party of racists.
-
Hmm, name calling, one of the first signs someone is losing a debate, but that's goes well with eagerness to change the topic and false equivalence. Also, how is the right established as the racist party? Oh, because their political opponents said so. I believe the democrats were the party of slavery and Jim Crow. Queue, party switch myth now.
-
"Party switch myth" You sure would like to believe that. It is a fact that the demographics of the parties have changed. Republicans were liberals, Democrats were conservative. Are you saying that's still the case?
-
The demographics my have changed but the ideals have always been the same. Yes black were once republican and then became mostly democrat because they like the idea of social programs. The south was most democrat and became most republican because of the increasing socialist tendencies and weak stance of communism of the democrats. Republicans were classic liberals standing for personal freedoms and are now called conservatives because they want conserve those freedoms. Democrats were conservative in the way they wanted to conserve their racist societies, and are now liberal in the way that they take liberties in their interpretation of the constitution.

Edited by Bloom Unknown : 6/27/2015 4:15:07 PMWhat a warped view of what's really going on. Conservatives today are the lineage of the conservatives before, meaning they were the slaveholders, the sharecroppers, prevented blacks from voting, Jim Crow, segregationists, and discriminators. Today they undermine minorities with voter ID laws, with gated communities aka segregation, with private schools only whites can afford, by stripping public funding and reparations for past oppression, and by creating a narrative where blacks are lazy thugs that are parasites on our economy. They belong to whatever party upholds these ideals. How is it classically liberal to own slaves, to lynch blacks without a trial, to prevent blacks from voting, to artificially segregate society, to turn your back on your fellow countrymen? Liberals and progressives today are the lineage of the progressive movements in U.S. History. They recognize the social and economic injustices of our history and seek to rectify and repair them. The Democratic Party doesn't represent these groups in many ways, they are just as bought out as Republicans.
-
Oh they're racist by lineage? So everyone in Germany is still a nàzi, everyone from Japan still worships an emperor as a god, whites in South Africa still favor apartheid? As far as segregated communities go you'll have to look north for that. Different races in the south live on the same street. Different races in the north don't even live in the same town. You want to see real segregation look up a map showing the black population of the US. It might seem like the only place people are trying to keep them out of is the north.
