How many people have played borderlands 2?
I feel as though a good bundle of people who've played destiny haven't.
Edit1: Now, which one gave you more variety? (Even though both have lots of repetition)

Borderlands gives so much more than Destiny but I can't play Barbie in Borderlands as well as I can with my Barbie Guardian.

Played both. In some ways I liked Borderlands better than Borderlands2. Played all characters. Liked Maya and Lilith the best. Lilith's phasewalking was a very useful non-combat action skill to quickly get from one location to another. Pimpernel, Sandhawk, DPUH, The Bitch, the Hornet.

Gunzerker pimp-hab glitch is my favorite to this day, although dpuh and grog nozzle is a great combo too

Let me pick your brain for a second. BL2 is probably one of the closest things we have to destiny. Even with the DLCs that came later no one ever complained about their micro transactions. I know why I didn't complain because the game was a full game at release with more than enough weapons to pursue and an awesome villain with a greatly entertaining story. The boss fights were all somewhat unique as well. I never had a dull moment playing BL2. Why has destiny become what it is?

2 RepliesI think Borderlands spoiled us when it comes to DLCs. I swear some of the DLC for Borderlands was bigger than all of Destiny including both DLCs. The world was epically big. I think all of Destiny would fit inside one section in Borderlands. DC Universe Online is another game that really knows how to make a huge world MMO and third person FPS. Wish Destiny was like both games in terms of both content and size. Can't wait for the next big thing in SciFi/Fantasy FPSMMO. I also can't see Destiny lasting 10 years with what we got in Year 1. This game is fun but it's too limited in terms of content. Even now I'm bored and just do enough to get exotics and level them. I'm not having fun, it's rather an addiction. Halo 5 could be the game to make Destiny a past memory until a new Destiny game is released.
