I want to believe this is all Activision since this has been their MO for a long time.

Yes. Probably so. But there is no way that Bungie made a 10yr deal with Activision NOT KNOWING how they operate. No way. Unless they really are that naive and dumb.

I agree, but when a publisher offers you 500 million to make your game, it's super easy to hop into bed with them even if they are scummy.
