My answer is no. Doesn't matter what it is my ability to be grateful for it is gone. If it took this much rage and a botched interview to get this small concession from bungie it seems like a hopeless cause.
I don't want to have to go through this much to get a developer to have ethics. Especially when they are getting "applied" retrospectively due to dropping sales and cancellations.
Bungie has been like this since destiny started and I've had enough. I'll be waiting for the next dlc bundle that's a a tenth of the value it was originally sold at to maybe jump back in.
Enjoy taken King. Might actually be refreshing to have that much ground to make up in the end.
Edit: wow just wow. Screw maybe never buying anything from bungie again after that update

2 RepliesI agree. My disappointment in this company surpasses my ability to describe it.

1 ReplyHow the update made me feel....

I'm sure they will roll out more self-deprecating spin and give us more BS "we hear you and are working to make this right". They needed to respond with a no-doubt solution in their first response. they have had two now (Luke and part 1 Update) and both have done nothing but make things worse. 3 strikes you are out, so better not boof this one up Deej
-
Probably not.
-
Have they ever?
-
PR = Lipstick on a pig..a stinky one at that.!!
-
After last nights, No. It's going to be all spin.
-
Thats a seriously good point... who needs this? I dont want to spend half my time playing a game, the other half dealing with these shitshows every other month... Who needs it?

Edited by P00NiSHER: 6/25/2015 4:15:21 AMI should be excited by the content Bungie is putting out. Instead, the last year I've spent over analyzing this game called Destiny. My adventure to become legend has been spoiled by the politics of this industry. Gamers should not have to worry about this stuff. These companies should act like professionals and give the fans a product they know will satisfy them, not what they think will satisfy them. The fans should be asking for more, not asking why am I about to pay another $40+ dollars for a game with no content. A game that lacks replayability. A game that lacks balance. This game is almost beyond redemption.

16 RepliesI'm dumbfounded. I thought I would just be disappointed not furious. Everything is worth $60 and only the taken King and the items are also $60. Bungie can choke on its money. I am done. Back to batman
-
They really do think we're cash cow morons! $40 for TKK plus $20 you would be throwing at your screen for the new emotes = $60 'Facepalm'

1 ReplyGreat post. They've yet to apologize for anything--they will start the apology tour now. And it's a day late and a dollar short. If they announce a reboot, that would generate genuine interest. Short of that, nothing he says will matter and he knows this. DeeJ is great at PR, not so great at community management. Had Bungie been doing right by us this whole time, one little comment wouldn't matter. For most of us, this is the icing on the cake.
-
If he says loyal ones will get something better and it happens to be true, I'll be satisfied. For now I'm not taking his word for it until I see what we get.

2 RepliesYeah I agree :( I feel betrayed

I highly doubt it. Think of how we all grind for leveling up our perfectly rolled gun or exotic armour piece. Now imagine the new gear coming and the grind starts again. Your friend just bought the collectors pack and is capable of less grinding (because we the vets complained about it in the first place) and upgrading everything in half the time it takes you to upgrade the same item. What could bungie possibly offer that tops less grind?

Edited by Guardian5429: 6/23/2015 10:08:00 PMLooks like it's up... Sadly nothing earth shattering (or concrete about the "white glove treatment"...) Uh, when my doctor gives me the white glove treatment, it usually involves sticking something where it does not feel very good. Hope that's not the case here... But just in case, let "Bohica" be our battlecry.

1 ReplyFor many customers the damage is already done. I doubt some micky mouse offering will dissuade a certain amount from ending their Destiny journey. Deej, to a certain extent, is facing a thankless task.
-
3 RepliesLook at it from this perspective: for all we know, DeeJ was going to post something this week anyway, even if the Luke Smith interview never happened.
-
1 ReplyDepends on the person. Someone's always going to bitch about whatever happens, it's just how the internet works.
-
Expect the worst so that way u don't get let down
-
10 RepliesIt will all depend on what that answer actually is. Which we'll know on Thursday. I'm worried we'll be let down, because they clearly expected everyone to rebuy content purely for the exclusives.
It's about value. The player's assessment of the value of the content.
-blam!-ing Deej and his propaganda jive. He's on damage control duty and ass kissing like a politician on election day.

1 ReplyThats because your not grateful its because you are ungrateful
