Kills with TLW and Thorn don't count in PvP.
Sorry, but the guns are so Op it's just ridiculous. The guns do all the work. Kind of like baseball players and steroids. It's not the skill the players have it's the steroids they use to be good. Same for TLW and Thorn. It's not the skill it's the guns. Any noob could pick up a Thorn and get lots of easy kills. I don't know why Bungie nerfed autos, and fusions into the ground but let TLW and Thorn completely own the crucible.
Edit: I have both Thorn and TLW. I don't use them. It would be like putting training wheels on a bike. I don't need Op weapons to help me play good.
Edit 2: I find it amusing that almost all the negative comments i'm getting are from people who use Thorn and TLW. Not surprising. Most people in the crucible use those Op weapons. So i'm getting a lot of hate. That's Ok. Come at me haters. The nerf is just a matter of time, so enjoy those easy no skill kills while you can.
Edit 3: Bungie is nerfing thorn and the last word. HA HA........HA HA HA.........BLaHAHAHaHaHaHaHaHah. Better put that thorn in the vault and learn some skills, kids.

I use TLW a lot but I am currently working on finding good legendary weapons that fit my style so that all my skill isn't going down the drain.

5 RepliesI guess it's easier for people to complain about the lack of skill it takes to use these guns, when they don't have enough skill to counter them. I've said it over and over. I do not find these guns to be a big issue. I've killed thorn and TLW users more then they've killed me. And that will continue with or without a nerf. Stop complaining.

I only use TLW to counter Thorn feel that these guns are completely fine and the true do earn the title of exotic unlike other exotics.

5 RepliesWell, its the same OLD argument we've had since the game came out, the only difference is the gun/armor/ability in question. Before long Bungie will have nerf'd/buff'd every single thing in the game to the point where they come full circle with an entirely new group of players worldwide, so, the cycle will start again. I wish everybody would just play the game and quit bitching about it. Thorn doesn't bother me, why, I use a Red Death most times and it puts them down. I also started using my TLW just to shake things up, why, because its fun. The same reason I use my Suros, because its fun and I want to switch things up. I'm sure Bungie will nerf Thorn and TLW, but I guarantee you one thing that within 6 hours (or less) of the patch going live, the vast majority of you will be bitching/moaning again that some other weapon/armor/ability is waaaaaay toooooooo OP! Can't we all just PLAY the MOTHER F'ing game for once!!!! Cheers

1 ReplyOooh a wild elitist! Also, steroids do not make you a better baseball player. They do not give you skill, that's acquired and developed. Steroids speed up the recovery process and can give you more strength, faster if you have an actual diet and weight program.

If it didn't take skill then why Are some players better than others at using them? Clearly it takes time and skills to master the weapons better than others.

I use TLW. I started using handcannons bc everybody else was using them. I started with Thorn and was doing OK, then moved to TLW and definitely feel an improvement in my ability to headshot people. That being said, I don't care if they get changed, I'll just start using another gun or keep with TLW if it's still viable, no biggie.

1 ReplyIt becomes a game of skill when everyone else uses the Exotic Handcannons, which is what is happening. I'm not a fan of this change, it makes it even more difficult as a new player and lower the overall TTK, and I'm not trying to play CoD.

They weren't "cheating", it wasn't lag, they just bested you. And you can't say the gun requires no "skill" to use, if you can aim it and shoot it, there's all the "skill" you need.

Since when do we compare things that shouldn't be compared because the 2 compared doesn't make any sense at all. It is a gun in the game that is ALLOWED to be used compared to a steroid which is NOT permitted to be used in baseball. Your argument is invalid
