Be honest. Would you really use the class item?
How many of you still use tumblr sparrow? Shafted mine for a faster emerald coil sparrow.
How many of you still use you're beta emblems instead of skolas/trial ones?
How many of you still use you're preorder sparrow?
You're blacksmith shader? The blue preorder armour sets?
Be completely honest, if day oners were given the exotic class items they'd wear it for 2 days, get bored when it turns out everyone else has it too, and go back to rocking whatver "super rare" vanilla cape/band/towel they were using.

Hell ya I still use Blacksmith... Best shader by far IMO. Yes, I want the class item XP=Motes. I like Motes... Not to mention save time leveling gear.

1 ReplyNever used tumbler because had timebreaker before it was released. Still use the founder emblems to prove it. And Blacksmith Shader? DUH looks better than Million Million... Oh wait... They're the same thing... :/

I think most of the hate going around is because of how Bungie handled the news... they were too eager pointing out how cool it would be to be a new player and didn't focus at all on the people that actually played the game so far. Recent news about how old players will actually be getting cooler stuff seems more like a quick band aid to douze down the outrage. Worst thing about all this exclusive gear is that those XP boosting bonds/marks/cloaks that they will be throwing to the new players will be breaking their game instead of helping them. All because rewards at the end of each mission are barely of any use when we didn't have XP boost, imagine how empty it will feel now if they don't readjust rewards. Hell one of my major disapointments with the rather short mission set of the TDB was that the missions were still rewarding blues! At a time where all vendors were already selling at least level 30 gear.

1 ReplyFor -blam!- sake people seem to be missing the point of all of this. It has [b][i][u]NOTHING[/u][/i][/b] to do with the items or who gets what. Its the shear arrogance and willingness to -blam!- over people who have supported this game from day 1. No one cares about who gets what. We care that Bungie gives so little shits about their own paying customers that they would do something like this.

I'd use them exclusively if they were able to be worn with me using other armours. Otherwise, I'm not really bothered. IDC if I get it but, if I do, it'll be nice.

4 RepliesI would use it for leveling the new subclasses, the new light level gear, and the new weapons (or upgraded exotic weapons). I hate getting a new weapon and then taking forever to unlock the perks.

Leveling up weapons faster would be the best thing for me. Especially when the new weapons come in and when I actually wanna grind all my exotics to max level.

I would kill for a red ghost just so it'd be legendary! That would be one more gold on the board.... You can't talk me out of this rage my friend......

2 RepliesIm about to throw my beta emblems back on my characters because im tired of looking at these new ones. As for the class item, if it takes the spot for my exotic armor piece then -blam!- no I wouldn't wear it. If it doesn't then I would probably wear it if it looked good. Either way I could care less. All it does is give an exp boost which I don't need.
