I'm upgrading to Xbox one so I'm getting the $80 version to get a digital Xbone copy and for the cool extra stuff it gives

How am I an idiot if I'm going to sell the game and 2 dlcs on eBay for $40 and only have to pay 40 for the new dlc and all the extras?

It's not unethical and dishonest, it's actually hurting their profit model to only include the digital stuff with the collectors edition, especially when they could just make a 50 dollar version and call it the "hardcore" edition and people would snatch that shit up and bungie would make even [i]more[/i] money, esp since the cost of producing digital goods is essentially zero.

While I believe it is a waste of money, I would hardly call anyone an idiot, especially not a "fckin idiot" and ask for their entire family tree to be "wiped from existence." Let people make their own choice. Where you and I see a scam, other's see it as a great investment. Absolutely no reason to judge anyone based off of one purchase.
