You have never met a group of shank majors with flame shields on nightfall with an arc modifier, and had no arc weapons or an elemental primary...

If you're in that situation then; A. Take your ass back to orbit B. Shank burn is NOT going save your ass in the least.

I'm sure Bungie has it designed so the perk doesn't effect shields. Someone on the Dev team likes to troll us.

Yah but that happens sooooo often that they decided to make a perk on a weapon designed for PoE which it never occurs in.

Shank majors are uncommon or don't even exist(yet)...those are normal red bar shanks with solar shields you faced. Be glad about that...be glad. After all, shanks are the deadliest enemies in video game history.

Skanks aka shanks are not deadly even when they move in packs. Annoying yes but a 365 shotgun melts those little suckers.
