What's with the graphics on no man's sky? Kind of looks like they took a black and white planet of the apes movie and remastered it with color.

  • They do have the "cell-shading" thing going on, but realize the scope of what that game is attempting. Downscaling graphics would be the trade off for how massive this thing is.

  • I really don't know a thing about the game. I just watched the game play on youtube. Looks ok I suppose. But if it's a huge game then it's something I'd be interested in.

  • Its an open galaxy game. I mean like literally, the galaxy. Everything is procedurally generated, the solar systems, planets, ecology, wildlife, terrain, etc. When you look at the trailers, he will use the star map, everything point of light is a sun. With its own procedurally generated solar system. The unspoken goal of the game, is to get to the center of the galaxy.
