PLEASE stop people from doing just the Skolas fight - make them do the whole thing.
I'm so sick of people spamming "LF Skolas CP" all damn day. Implement a ticket like for Trials, where they have to check off the first 5 rounds before they can join a group at round 6. That way those that have earned their way there, can go back to finish the fight with others who have earned it (cause they have the cp), rather than a bunch of "give it to me now" kids, burning the forums and LFG sites down, trying to get a short cut to the boss.
Edit: Since so many people ask the same question, I'll put the answer here.
It affects me because at the time of this post I was on lfg trying to put together a group for a fresh run (cause I'm not a pussy and I can actually fight my way to Skolas) but the channel was being overrun by a-holes spamming for the Skolas cp. I even asked a few if they wanted to start fresh but they refused. So I had plenty of time to put up this post while looking for people to run with.
Edit: I'm amazed at all the butthurt little kiddies blowing their top over this post. Are you really too crap to make it through 5 rounds? Learn to play. It only takes 20 mins ffs.

I'm fine with that. Any kind of checkpoint so I can do it in more than one sitting is fine. I don't spam the boards looking for anything, but at this point I only do it if one of my buddies asks for help at least some of the way through.

3 RepliesDude, it's not your call. Some people would rather not do all the smaller irrelevant crap. I do both. And I have friends that invite me all the time cause I'm good at it but its so boring to me to do all that other stuff.

3 RepliesBut what about all the people who post "at Skolas, need 1/2 more" It goes both ways. If everyone wanted to do it from start to finish then those who have fireteam members leave for what ever reason would have to start all over again. And all that for poor rewards, it's not worth it.

1 ReplyThe Skolas fight last longer than rounds 1-5 combined, and is more challenging, Skolas really doesn't need any filler rounds before. They are not avoiding anything by joining in at Skolas

Lol are you new? It's not about being pussy. Everybody already knows that the 34 Poe is the harder arena level. The reason for the skolas only is because all 35 is, is a waste of time. If you havn't figured it out yet. All they did on level 35 was up the health of enemies and also level based damage reduction. Turned everything into bullet sponges. It doesnt take more skill to beat 35, it takes more patience because bungie doesn't know how to implement something into the arena that requires team skill. Skolas being the only exception. Sorry I don't want to shoot at a -blam!-ing servitor for 15 mins. - BTW i do the whole thing. I can also see why people would skip it. If I had the choice of a checkpoint I would take it, however I POE with the same 2 friends so a checkpoint is out of the question. I would also not call people a pussy or no skill. PVE takes no skill. You shoot -blam!-ing AI for gawd sake who are programmed to do certain things in certain patterns and within set limitation. YAWN...
