I'm so sick of people spamming "LF Skolas CP" all damn day. Implement a ticket like for Trials, where they have to check off the first 5 rounds before they can join a group at round 6. That way those that have earned their way there, can go back to finish the fight with others who have earned it (cause they have the cp), rather than a bunch of "give it to me now" kids, burning the forums and LFG sites down, trying to get a short cut to the boss.
Edit: Since so many people ask the same question, I'll put the answer here.
It affects me because at the time of this post I was on lfg trying to put together a group for a fresh run (cause I'm not a pussy and I can actually fight my way to Skolas) but the channel was being overrun by a-holes spamming for the Skolas cp. I even asked a few if they wanted to start fresh but they refused. So I had plenty of time to put up this post while looking for people to run with.
Edit: I'm amazed at all the butthurt little kiddies blowing their top over this post. Are you really too crap to make it through 5 rounds? Learn to play. It only takes 20 mins ffs.

5 RepliesThis is why their is no checkpoints

I'll occasionally look for ppl to join me at skolas but I've never gone looking for a skolas cp.

They need to make it a card like ToO. Each round you do is a point on it, you can only join games in progress if you have their level or greater already finished. E.g. Want to join round 5, you need to have rounds 1-4 already beaten. Each point should be a checkpoint as well.

8 RepliesYou do realize that most of the checkpointers are people who have already beaten skolas and has the bounty and is farming that sweet 450 points when he dies. I have all three exotic guns from poe and every time I check pointed for the bounty and usually helped a team that was stuck.

1 ReplyI agree but what if one of your guys got to go and you need 1 more for finishing it up

11 RepliesThis. PoE is backloaded with rewards, so people are only willing to do the end boss to get that. The one-two hours leading up to it are designed to be a waste of time as it is. Both raids, and even ToO let you get rewards for what you do, if you don't finish, you still get something. They all let you stop and take a break, come back at it later too. PoE is just poorly designed top to bottom.

I've helped people this week get to skolas then Ieave so someone else can get the rewards since I already did it 3 times this week it doesn't bother me that people only want to do the boss

Who cares? People do it all the time with the raids which, arguably reward better gear anyhow. Even without exploiting a glitch, you can jump in at round 5. There's very little incentive to do the waves preceding Skolas. If you can get to Skolas without having to do all the rounds, why wouldn't you? Better to get to the disappointment as quickly as possible no?
