Nightfalls are not worth it anymore
Nightfalls are useless now if you think about it , you wont get any new exotic weapons, the armors are limited and can be easily earned from motes of light from xur. They are people still grinding for a Gjallarhorn and me including and havent gotten one but i stopped caring about that. On the other hand i realize that trial of osiris is actually more rewarding than pve which is utterly stupid and should be looked into because they are a lot of players that have more fun in pve than pvp so that needs to be fixed, stop being lazy bungie

Edited by DIZZY312: 6/10/2015 3:50:56 PMI still need the ram, and all the Titans armor I got hawkmoon and the new hunter boots yesterday so it was a good day But after all the exotics are collected, I think I'll still do the nightfalls for the XP boost and possibly getting better stats ok exotic armor Oh and materials from dismantling rewards...you can never have too many materials(weapon parts and motes of light mostly)

I really do Nightfalls for the exp boost anyway. Getting an exotic or etheric light really isn't a bad thing for me either.

Like others have said I mostly run the nightfall for the Xperia boost. That's not to say I wasn't happy receiving a 55-Allfate and Icebreaker for my troubles :-)

Nightfalls, for me anyway, have [u]always[/u] been about the XP boost and the "challenge". Expecting an exotic every nightfall you do, is something only douchebag entitled twats do. You can still drop the new armour and you can get etheric light now drop from them. If you have literally every single exotic in the game then yeah, nightfalls will be alot less useful. But if you're in that position, then 80% of the game will be pretty much pointless anyways

Lol, you're so wrong. I just got an etheric light last night. Can finally have all 3 characters up to 34 once I get a new helmet for my Warlock.

4 RepliesI'm kinda thinking the same about the whole poe grind. Sort of pointless I've been through them all.the reward is hardly worth the effort. I'm thinking ESO your post just helped me decide. I'm not sure I can stomach another week of pointless loot. Guns /armor aren't worth it.

The xp a rep boost is super handy, plus I like strikes harder the better, if everything needs a point games are the wrong thing for you

Legendary Weapon - The chance of getting a Legendary weapon with nice perks is completely negated due to Reforging. You can just Reforge any weapon until your hearts content. Exotic Armor - Xur now sells engrams on a Weekly basis and Motes of Light have become very abundant for many. Ever since his policy has changed he has now sold every pre-HoW Exotic armor piece. It took several months for him to finally sell the likes of HotPF and the Dire Skull. Same can be said for the weapons. Exotic weapons - If you are a day one player or a Christmas player, you most likely have every pre-HoW Exotic weapon in the game. Ever since Xur's policy change, he has now sold every weapon available to sell. The only weapon I can see that people are struggling to get is Hawkmoon and Gjallarhorn and Nightfall is the first port of call on Weekly Reset. At the end of the day people will still play NF if they have nothing else to do and for the slight challenge it provides.

New exotic boots....no way to get from xur via engrams bc exotic boot engrams don't exist in the game right now due to locks not having exotic boots. Got the bones of eos yesterday and was super pumped. For the difficulty it is def worth running for a chance at some decent weapons that you can re roll or for exotics you might be missing
