Rumor has it Taken King DLC will cost $40
So the Taken King is rumored to cost $40. That's kinda steep for a DLC don't ya think?

I'll only agree if there is 3 new worlds, atleast 4 new strikes, 6 new exotics and 15 story missions and 2-3 new raids. If it actually costs $40

2 RepliesI'm going to wait for more info. $40 is nearly a new copy of destiny, which came overall with 6 classes, one raid, few strikes, a nice amount of story missions with cutscenes throughout, a hefty amount of exotic weapons + armor, and a decent amount of multiplayer maps. When comparing the taken king to the original launch game in terms of pricing and content, i don't expect it to feel like a new game but it should feel close as getting a sequel. If it feels like another dlc (which it is lol) in the sense that it follows the tradition of destiny dlc: one raid, very few story missions, a couple of new exotics, a few new maps for pvp and a extra strike or two, the addition of 3 new classes won't justify the $40 price. $30 would sound more reasonable. But we'll see.

5 RepliesWhining about $40 shows ones age.... If you even get 40 hrs out of it, that's a huge bargain.... Truth is you'll play hundreds of hours for pennies per hour of entertainment. Get summer jobs kids, build a resume, earn a bit of dough...
