Warning: I am beginning a rant, for all of the half wits that quit in the middle of a match because they are losing...
So, you're too good to lose!? Is that it? Well, buck up, stop whining and rage quitting because YOU'RE not good enough to win a match. Yes, it's you're fault. Every match I lose, it's because I didn't carry hard enough. It's as simple as that. Same goes for all of you whining, crying, quitting because "my team is bad" silly boys out there. You lose because you can't carry, get over it and finish the damn match.
Everytime stone rage quits, they hurt the team and opens a spot for some other poor guardian to walk into an ass whooping. They start the match, feed the enemy to the point of supers and quit... STOP THIS! Suck it up and take your lumps. Nobody is too good to lose, get over yourselves.
End rant... Ban me if you must, but this is ridiculous...
Edit: To clarify, I am speaking to those who quit willingly, because they can't finish what they started. Real world issues are always priority, and disconnects happen. Also, you can call out my characters and k/d all you want. Those may indicate that I'm not as good as some people, but I'm also not the coward leaving a match to pad my k/d or because I can't take a loss, and I won't quit because I think the team is "bad". A loss Sims means I'm not good enough and I have to get better. End.

2 RepliesThere's a difference between losing fair and square and losing because you ended up with people who should be eliminated from the gene pool, before they do some real damage.
-
1 ReplyI'm nowhere near good, have some good moments have some bad moments but I went 0-13 in day one. I should luck into one win at least. I was playing against a team that had 5of 6 in a clan. Lost 3-4 against them. Then I luck into being the 6th with their five, they lose the next 3. I can't win.
-
If I have 5 medallions and I see the team is going nowhere I leave
-
The only time I ditch is if half my team leaves and the other two are just sitting around. But I normally don't play pvp anyways

3 RepliesA level 25 carrying?

12 RepliesEdited by NeverAlfredo: 6/4/2015 4:20:36 PMI dropped 7605 points one game and lost...am I bad?
-
The only time I quit is if my teammates are so terrible where I'm about to break my controller or if I'm playing so poorly I feel the team will be better off without me
-
Edited by BornPatriot: 6/4/2015 5:17:42 PMI played 1 v 6 last night for seven minutes after everyone else in my team left after the first 1:30. I NEVER QUIT! And to the one guy that kept bagging me after killing me, you were only able to beat me 1 v 1 when you had heavy. You weren't bagging me when you just showed up with your Thorn.
-
I only quit on blind watch and pantheon maps too boring and usually take the longest to end or when I got 5 medallions and game obviously wont be a win.
-
2 RepliesNot everybody quits because they don't want to lose. Its more so about diminishing returns on those loses. In the IB you can lose up to 5 times and still gain all the rep you would have received in one go. If you go over 5 loses you're just wasting time sticking around to the end. My rule is that if I already have 5 loses, and my team is down by 5000 or more points beyond the half way point of the match, I'm leaving because that's give or take 5-10 minutes I can put into a fresh match to reclaim that rep. That makes way more sense than sticking around for a fight that upon conclusion I gain nothing from.
-
1 ReplyI don't care to lose in IB. Personally I love it when I get a stack of 5 Medallions and claim them on a win lol just to watch that ridiculous jump all at once in my rank is worth it
-
Edited by Commiit: 6/4/2015 5:05:53 PMIf I'm in a crucible match and someones lagging the point where I can hit them 6 times with the arc blade and they don't take damage until 7 seconds later, I will leave if I feel like it. I stay for the most part even if were losing though cos medallions do help
-
4 RepliesIf I'm not playing with a firearm, I don't have some unspoken oath to a bunch of scrubs. I just started playing again a couple weeks ago for the first time since December and I was shocked how bad some of my teams were. I'm also shocked by how much Thorn is wrecking shop. I'm also shocked that you're trying to tell people what to do with a game they payed 60 bucks for... I'm easily surprised I guess
-
1 ReplyEdited by Im Simply Z: 6/4/2015 4:59:48 PMNot sure why people quit. Medallions give a decent amount of bonus rep. (Thrust Titan sorry didn't read down)

I understand your frustration, but... If people won't take the time to learn which zones to capture and when to capture them, then I'm not gonna work hard to help that team win. You may have all day to play. I do not. I have never quit a close match, or one where everybody is working hard and working smart, but I have no problem leaving a match where I've busted my ass to flip the zones in our favor only to have a couple noobs capture the nearest zone to them with NO thought of strategy. After all, before I raided, I watched Raid videos so that I wouldn't let down my team. I ask that those who are unfamiliar with the Control maps and strategy do the same.

I know it's dumb even when you lose, you still get iron medallions to earn back your exp espically with 5 medallions u can earn a lot to help you to rank up. Only time u should leave if u have 5 iron medallions because if u lose again u will lose that extra exp. if these players u speak of quit just because they want to win then yea pretty mess up

2 RepliesDamn you took a long break from destiny guardian.

1 ReplyLast night my friend and I got dropped in a match where we were @ 3000 to 7000. We ended up winning by about 2000. The people who left must have been the cause of the deficit.
-
Just had my seventh match in a row where I've filled a gap left by a rage quitter and entered a game where my team is already 10k+ points behind. Oh, and I invariably enter the match just after heavy ammo drops so spawn in only to get immediately wrecked by Gjallarhorn...
-
Seriously even if I'm getting mah a$$ whooped I still stay to get the medal rep buff at the end
-
1 ReplyHonestly people should just take the loss because im pretty sure a redeemed medallion gives more rep than a win if the tempered buff is active.
-
You don't know their reasons. I just wanted to point it out. But.... Yea, that is frustrating. Remember it's a video game, not a hardcore competition.
-
Joined a team that was losing by 8k points and match ended 2 mins after I started but got rewarded with party crasher lol people who leave could've gotten the gun they wanted.

2 RepliesSo this is coming from a level 25
