Quitters in Iron Banner, this is for you...
Warning: I am beginning a rant, for all of the half wits that quit in the middle of a match because they are losing...
So, you're too good to lose!? Is that it? Well, buck up, stop whining and rage quitting because YOU'RE not good enough to win a match. Yes, it's you're fault. Every match I lose, it's because I didn't carry hard enough. It's as simple as that. Same goes for all of you whining, crying, quitting because "my team is bad" silly boys out there. You lose because you can't carry, get over it and finish the damn match.
Everytime stone rage quits, they hurt the team and opens a spot for some other poor guardian to walk into an ass whooping. They start the match, feed the enemy to the point of supers and quit... STOP THIS! Suck it up and take your lumps. Nobody is too good to lose, get over yourselves.
End rant... Ban me if you must, but this is ridiculous...
Edit: To clarify, I am speaking to those who quit willingly, because they can't finish what they started. Real world issues are always priority, and disconnects happen. Also, you can call out my characters and k/d all you want. Those may indicate that I'm not as good as some people, but I'm also not the coward leaving a match to pad my k/d or because I can't take a loss, and I won't quit because I think the team is "bad". A loss Sims means I'm not good enough and I have to get better. End.

I WILL quit when half of the opposing team suddenly goes red bar and becomes impossible to beat. I don't mind losing fair and square, but I won't tolerate nor waste my time against folks that cheat to win. I also report folks for doing this as well. I had two matches today where certain individuals began the match green, but as soon as my team got the life lead, the went red bar, and we couldn't touch them.

I quit because the game matched me and three of my buddies up against a full team spamming last words and thorns. Oh and we were one man down. On pantheon. With lag. Yup, what's the point in staying if you're not gonna have fun?

I have, and I just cannot tell you how wrong this statement is. Any competitive game is TEAM effort, and there really is no I in team. You can carry your balls off, and if your teammates suck you will still lose. This is even acknowledged in Destiny by the fact that there is a damn medal called "On The Bright Side...". I agree that people shouldn't quit, but this statement is still wrong. Long story short, you're gonna get -blam!-ing garbage teammates sometimes, and there will be no way to carry their asses.

1 ReplyDidn't read it all but I'll add this... Got 9 kills for the 10 kill streak bounty at the end of one match, match ends and I'm put into a new lobby... A game in progress. It loads up asylum. I spawn in. 5 seconds later 3 enemies are right in front of me, thorns hammering the space between us. My Hawkmoon lands 2 crits on one guy, but no lucky shots.. I'm dead. There were only 3 of us in the game on my team. No luck in the chamber was just bad luck... But the 3v6 was because people couldn't finish what they started.

2 RepliesI play for fun in fact I use the worst exotic (necrochasm 1 clip crit and maybe you kill) if we won great if we lose well bad luck or the other enemy is better than us is just a game 😂

Well im sorry! I personally would prefer to do 34 prison with my friends instead of dealing with lag switchers.

1 ReplySome of us quit, as others have posted, because the lag/ lag switchers is/are rediculous this time around in IB, and i've played lots of IB, this is the worst I've seen it, Wondered why ToO was so bad, seems to be spreading to Iron Banner now

1 ReplyI don't generally quit, but if I'm playing against a fireteam of six with thorn, they have all the zones and they have a 10k point lead I'll just leave, I get sick of being crushed for 5 minutes just to get a medallion, it's just not very fun

I started an IB match today with only me in my team. The others left as the match started. I crapped myself until I realised the enemy team only had two people. I got to hold the flag though - highlight of my day. ... so warm and fuzzy inside. O_o

Only time i ever quit IB mates is if i have 5 medallions. Theres no point in staying in a hopeless lobby if you aren't going to get anything out of it.

Yeah people need to stop quitting, I'm so very sick of getting dropped into a game on a team that's losing by 10,000 points which is just made worse because the people quit, then I'm dropped into that game and spawn killed, suck it up and get your coin

No point in quitting a match as you can finish up a bounty or get a medallion to redeem for the next win.. Quitting not only hinders your team but yourself too lol

I only quit when it puts me into a game that's something like a 3v6 with a 1000-12000 point spread. I don't mind playing from a little behind, but I'd also prefer to start a game on somewhat close footing instead of being put on a 3 man team against 6 people with heavy and all of their supers are up.

The only time I leave a match is if MM -blam!-s me, and puts me in a game in progress. I play this game to have fun not to get stomped on by players with suppers and heavy.

I lose matches all the time but it's not my fault. It's my team. They're either fvcking garbage or don't know how to capture an objective. You can't be a one man army in Iron Banner.

5 RepliesI'm sorry but after the 5th game in a row of some dumbass taking heavy ammo while he's all alone I get -blam!-ing pissed off. Same goes for repeatedly getting put in games with 2 or more players AFC. I'm not gonna put up with that BS.
