23 strange coins for 1 etheric light added to Xur's inventory
Seems self explanatory, what do you all think.
Adding a PVE non PoE route to 34... Not replacing PoE, just enhancing the experience and finding our own way to play...
Edit 1- Playing full time would allow many opportunities across PoE, trials and occasionally nightfall across 3 chars, on a more casual basis with a work/life/game balance makes this less workable though...
Edit 2- many people either have spare etheric light or none at all, this is an optimistic post hoping to talk about the possibility of Xur helping the lightless minority make it easier for everyone to enjoy content, maybe level a weapon now and then... The day we get to trade between one another this whole need ends but until then this would help.
Edit 3, the resurrection!
Now that light is on the way out and the etheric is going to be essentially useless, shouldn't we get a chance to burn through some of that strange, vibrating green currency in the final weeks!

Maybe but only if you can buy it only once per weekend per character... But that's the only change I would make... 23 strange coins sounds good

I'm hard up for etheric right now but I still think xur shouldn't sell them. It's currently the only upgrade material and I would rather get them from the current options. I wouldn't need them so bad if I had more time to play, Lord knows there's plenty of people with an abundance of etheric. Simply cause they have time to grind for it. Obviously it's not that hard to get and bungie has provided multiple paths to get it. Just my opinion.

The only people that option would truly benefit are the people who are already lagging behind because they can't get a good group in Osiris or PoE, and they don't have 3 characters they can just flip around easily, they lack time, whatever. However those players who are getting to the Lighthouse, knocking out 32, 34, 35 PoE on 3 characters, they already have more Etheric Light then they know what to do with. I have thus far received exactly 5. I asked a friend who I was in PoE with the other day who I was finally able to link up with to go there how many he had, and he said, "Oh man, I don't even remember. It's been a lot though". He has 3 level 34's with all fully maxed out weapons. So who exactly would it hurt, and how would it negatively effect the game in anyway if there was another source, and another way for us to spend our coins?

Hey, they did say if you dont do the stuff/ not have the dlc, your gonna have a hard time getting to 34

I think this is a great idea. I have had no luck getting Etheric Light in 9 Nightfalls, I have not and will not play Trials of Osirus, and I have only completed 5/9 possible level 34 PoE and 0/9 level 35.
