23 strange coins for 1 etheric light added to Xur's inventory
Seems self explanatory, what do you all think.
Adding a PVE non PoE route to 34... Not replacing PoE, just enhancing the experience and finding our own way to play...
Edit 1- Playing full time would allow many opportunities across PoE, trials and occasionally nightfall across 3 chars, on a more casual basis with a work/life/game balance makes this less workable though...
Edit 2- many people either have spare etheric light or none at all, this is an optimistic post hoping to talk about the possibility of Xur helping the lightless minority make it easier for everyone to enjoy content, maybe level a weapon now and then... The day we get to trade between one another this whole need ends but until then this would help.
Edit 3, the resurrection!
Now that light is on the way out and the etheric is going to be essentially useless, shouldn't we get a chance to burn through some of that strange, vibrating green currency in the final weeks!

5 RepliesWhy dont you just sell 3 lvl 34 char for 500 coins? So stupid. Anyone can put the effort in stop being lazy. I play 4 hours a day bar weekends and i had 3 34s first week..

In my opinion etheric light is already to easy to obtain the way I see it i shouldn't be able to already have 365ed all of the weapons i care about and get my two mains to 34. The way I see it, it should take at least a couple of weeks to get a character to 34 and then move onto weapons. But no I have gotten about 3-5 etheric light a week, far more than I need and it is already beginning to stack up, just from doing 34 sometimes 35 and getting to at least 8 wins on a trials card not always flawless(I understand trials is not easy to most) I am also yet to get one from nightfalls. But this is just my opinion.

33 RepliesNo, Etheric Light is already easy enough to come by. It's a guaranteed drop from 34 and 35 Prison of Elders, Trials of Osiris packages and the Lighthouse, and Iron Banner. If you're struggling to find Etheric Light, especially during Iron Banner week, that's your own fault. It's already a very accessible and plentiful resource.

Meh , Xur could sell it or he couldn't , neither here nor there to me , it will be Etheric Light , or the lack thereof that will finally push players away sooner or later . Bungies loss .

Yeah I like the idea but I would go just a little higher like 27 cause it's upgrading legendary armor and weapons from the past. That should take some time and work.

Xur use to be someone you went to to get something special for yourself, it had a reasonable cost and that cost was challenging to get. This was a great balanced. Now Xur has basically turned into a personal guardian booster he can boost you easily and with little to no challange. My opinion is that Xur should not at all sell EL because of my above observation. Leveling up should not be so easy. Under any circumstance. For me and for others it takes away from the adventure, and the challange, that should always come with leveling to new strengths. I personally think that this is a great idea, but you should only be able to buy 1 Etheric Light once a week.

3 RepliesYou only need 2 per character. Etheric light is way to easy to get. I'm upset how easy bungee made it to get to 34. U can go 8-4 in trials and get 2-3. U can go 6-4 with each character on trials with the loss boon and get one per character per week. Way to easy bungie. Not even mentioning nightfalls and POE. Anyone complaining doesn't know how to play the game. Xur should not sell etheric light and neither should IB.

Maybe but only if you can buy it only once per weekend per character... But that's the only change I would make... 23 strange coins sounds good
