Day one player over 1,200 hours. Playing the game for 10 months still no gjally
I am this close to giving up on this freaking game

The magic of RNG. People like you wishing for that first gjallarhorn in their inventory, while people like me are annoyed every time they get another one. This RNG system is broken like many other aspects of the game.

I understand your desire for that particular weapon but it really won't change your life. Just enjoy the game or play something else then come back.

1 ReplyI am sorry to hear about your plight. Am also a day 1 player. And I do mostly PvE. PS - I don't go into the game looking for specific drops anymore. I just go with the flow.. Just go with the flow man.. I went without a Gjallarhorn for the longest time. Was butt of many jokes at VoG HM raids. Finally got one drop last month. And another dropped today. But I just shrug it off and continue playing as games are supposed to be fun and not a chore. When you grind against the destiny lottery, you will burn out on it real fast. I didn't expect Monte Carlo and Fourth Horseman to drop on me but they did, over the course of my many times spent in nightfall. I amassed a stockpile of legendaries and exotics just from playing the game. My advice is to stop looking and start playing.

Don't focus on it and it'll drop for you. I wanted one so bad for months and nothing. Just last week I was like, well , I've made it this far without one (34 x 2) and it isn't really necessary. Boom, got it off one of my nf runs where I was hoping for an etheric light. Don't make the game about the one thing that hasn't come your way.... Yet

Bought mine week two and it never dropped for me. Until this nightfall it dropped. Wish I cpuld donate it to someone else. My point is stop hungering for it. It does drop. Took me about 1300 hours too

Been playing since December, 6 raids 3 nightfall a week and I finally just got my first from VOG hard chest on Tuesday..... Then another promptly dropped for me the same night from nightfall, figures lol.
