Just seen Fallout 4 trailer, Destiny is dead
Title says it all. Fallout has everything destiny has not. Especially for PvE players, good luck Bungie with further transition to a pure PvP game.

Yes Fallout 4 will take a chunk away, Arc Survival Evolved will take a pretty big chunk too. Not sure Destiny will die but if the next big DLC is as much of a lame duck as everything so far has than yeah it might die.

Not really a comparable fame as far as genre is concerned but have fun playing if it gets good reviews I will probably pick it up

Bethesda is showing Doom 4 and fallout 4 and their Moba game at E3 From Software will be showing Dark Souls 3 at E3 Fallout 4 is definitely coming out this year from all the rumors Halo 5 is also coming out this year Star wars Battlefront is also coming out this year Next week is ESO release on consoles Next week is also the release of a new GTA online part 1 dlc for the summer Square Enix may show off Final Fantasy 15 at E3 which looks absolutely amazing and its a open world mmo Don't forget about: Rainbow Six Siege and The division Uncharted 4 Rise of the Tomb Raider Dues Ex Mankind divided Maybe even a teaser trailer for Mirrors Edge 2, Titanfall 2, Mass Effect 4 Bungie is also gonna be at E3 show casing some stuff for Destiny ie, The Taken King dlc. What a fantastic year for gamers.

I'm a Fallout fan since the original (still have 1,2, & BoS on PC). When it launches I'll definitely be there for 4 but I won't leave Destiny.

So many amazing games that were supposed to "kill" destiny never did. There will always be Guardians fighting the good fight, or the bad. I've been playing since the beta and I did take about a 4 month long break at one point but when I came back it was still as booming as ever. No game will be able to kill destiny. IMO anyways. [spoiler]Although, when Fallout 4 comes out, there will be one less guardian for a little while. As much as I love Destiny, the Fallout games will always be my favorite games to play.[/spoiler]

5 RepliesIs it a multi player/co-op game ? If the answer is no then I doubt it will do much to destiny. Eventually then game ends and you move on or in this case come back. Now if a multilayer co-op games comes around that gets it right then yes destiny has got some problems.

1 ReplyAs much as I hate these posts, truth is I'm completely ecstatic about the release of Fallout 4! I finally have the reason I've been yearning for to finally leave Destiny and never look back. Not to mention Bethesda is the gaming company I truly support the most due to its two franchises (Fallout and Elder Scrolls) that have given me everything I ever loved in video games since I was a kid, story and replayability. Of course all of this is simply my own personal opinion on the matter so don't take my word for it, haha.

I've seen the trailer too and I am sorely disappointed. The graphics look so last gen. The dog's hair was textured and not even textured well. The engine that Bethesda uses is so outdated that the source engine would be a better option. While graphics aren't the end all be all, the fact remains that how a game looks has a lot to do with how immersive it feels. I had a hard time getting into Skyrim because of the low quality if it's graphics and Fallout 4 just seems like a copy and paste of the same engine.
