Why no way to buy etheric light for PvE players like PvP players get with Iron Banner lvl 3?
Title says it all. I think it is completely unfair for PvP players to get the ability to buy etheric light when I as a PvE (PoE) only player does not. Any one else have a thought?

1 ReplyAre you kidding me? Getting Iron Banner rep is not hard at all. 6 bounties per day plus wearing class item/emblem/shader for more rep. Why shouldn't PvP players get more rewards? Most PvP players (myself included) also do PvE like PoE so shouldn't participating in more content = getting more rewards? Grow up.

I like pvp more than pve, but I play pve to get amor and some weapons. Since HoW pvp is a little bit more rewarding (thank you bungie) and you are crying it is unfair!?

I have played about 4 hours of pvp since beta and I have stepped into the iron banner to get me some light, nothing is stopping u pal, load up and go get it tiger

I almost exclusively play PvE, but am going to grind out at least one character to level 5 to get the etheric light. Its not that bad and the 2 lights arecworthnit

There is nothing stopping a PVE player from playing PVP. Just play the damn game the way it's meant to be played and stop complaining.

4 RepliesPvE player here, through and through. Why do people think its hard to get to rank 3?? I've only participated in 2 Iron Banners (this is my third) and both times I reached rank 5 with ease. This is not trials hard. You don't even have to win. Just do the bounties with the buff active.

4 RepliesYou get them for free from prison of elders level 34 so if anything, us pve players have got the better deal. Pvp players have to pay for their etheric light and also grind for hours to rank 3 & 5. Pve players just have to run the 34 PoE which isn't too hard if you're not up against qodron.

By the time you get rank 3 in IB you could have done 34 PoE on all three characters. Aaaand keep in mind you can do this every single week. Level 34 is where you want to be in IB, as well as in PoE. Sooooo what are you complaining about..? PoE is still the most reliable, constant, weekly way to get Etheric Light.

Level 34 Poe, you actually get it for free there, ib will cost you 5000 glimmer.

If you still haven't figured it out yet, bungie does everything they can to force people to participate in the crucible.

PvE: - [b]Weekly[/b] Nightfalls (Exotic/Etheric Light Chance) - [b]Weekly[/b] Heroic (Coins to buy an Exotic) - Random Strikes - 2 VoG Modes, each with their own set of weapons (Exotic Chance) (Weekly Reset) - 2 Crota's End Modes, each with their own set of weapons (Exotic Chance) (Weekly Reset) - 28, 32, 34, 35 PoE (Exotic Chances for all 3), Guaranteed Etheric Light for 34 & 35. (Weekly Reset, 28 doesnt reset) PvP: - Iron Banner ([b][i][u]Monthly[/u][/i][/b] Reset) - Trials of Osiris ([b]4/7[/b] Days of the week) And this man is complaining about PvP having more advantages than PvE? Bitch grow the -blam!- up.

PVE all the way! POE 35 is unattainable for me atm, so I started iron banner for the first time this morning in 5 games got to rank 1. Aiming for rank 3.

So if you play PvE... how do you suppose you get Ethereic Light?? Doing PvP? Shocker. But then that means your not PvE.

I hate pvp more than anyone but I play it for exotic bountys and iron banner.
