Why no way to buy etheric light for PvE players like PvP players get with Iron Banner lvl 3?
Title says it all. I think it is completely unfair for PvP players to get the ability to buy etheric light when I as a PvE (PoE) only player does not. Any one else have a thought?

They really don't get to just buy etheric light You GET to level 3/5 THEN you can "buy" it It is just a bonus for doing crucible Stop the freaking whining Some people like Pvp !!

Sources for Etheric Light PvP: Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner PvE: Prison of Elders and Nightfall Strike Seems pretty fair to me. [spoiler]Before you say "Nightfall isn't guaranteed to give Etheric Light: Iron Banner is only once a month.[/spoiler]

I literally only play PVE, and the 6 guaranteed per week has been more than enough. don't get me wrong, I think this DLC catered to the pvp side of the game, and therefore people who play both are just swimming in E-light, but previously pvp got the shaft so I'm not complaining.

I'm mainly a pve player, its not hard to get to lvl 3, I'm already 2.5 rank

....... It's not that hard to get to Iron Banner Rank 3 Even someone who isn't that great at PvP(like me!) can get to Rank 3 pretty fast

23 RepliesOK, let's go at this again. No one seems to get it. When each toon reaches Rank 3 in Iron Banner, you can buy ONE (1) Etheric Light for 5000 Glimmer ONCE. ONLY ONCE. This happens again at Rank 5. You can buy ONLY ONE MORE ETHERIC LIGHT for another 5000 glimmer. So, each toon you grind to Rank five Iron Banner gets you A MAXIMUM OF 2 ETHERIC LIGHT. We aren't just swimming in this crap.

Look at this way, pvp players are working for getting to rank 3 and they can only buy one at rank 3 and then one at rank 5. And pve players are also working for it in the arenas. So in a way it's all the same.

Pve players have a chance to get it from nightfall and PoE. Some pvp players maybe don't to pve so they have a different way.

I am mostly a PvE player and played about 4 games earlier and got to just before rank 2. Mate it isn't that hard to do just get the buff every time, with a shader, emblem and class item adding even more. You should have more than enough glimmer.

Etheric light shouldn't be hard to get from iron banner for PvE players. Even if you lose you'll get reputation. Bounties you can get along the way. Better to try than complain.

You can get Etheric light as many times as you want from iron banner as long as you meet the requirements, right? I heard you could only buy one EL and if you wanted more you would have to get to rank 5

Dude..... Buy the buff... Go on forums and find a team, take the bounties and wait for the final days of Iron Banner... You'll be rank 3 in a day... I started yesterday and I'm already rank 2... It isn't that hard. So it is fair.

3 RepliesBecause it can be obtained in multiple ways and they're all free. I got two from my nightfalls, two more for beating 34 & 35 PoE on my Hunter and two more from beating 34 & 35 PoE on my Warlock. My Titan will give me even [b]more[/b] Etheric Light once I play. Meanwhile, strictly PvP'ers have to grind to level 5 on all characters simply to [b]buy[/b] their Etheric Light. Also, it's only once a month, you make it seem as if you can buy it whenever.
