Calling all Overlords: Clan Recruitment Tips
I've seen a lot of Clans rise and fall playing Bungie games. It's always been an interesting scene.
Finding people to join you is hard when you're starting out. What are some pointers that you would share - assuming you've been able to make friends in your Destiny Clan?

I like to think I'm an exceptional pvper with my best character having a 1.9 kd. Just need a solid group to run iron banner and trials with every week, please give me clan suggestions! Cheers

Aggression Scale Gaming Community, Built in April of 2014 and started out a Guild on NW (Neverwinter) a f2p mmorgp. I created the guild in hopes to become a well known guild throughout the Neverwinter, once we got through all the dungeons the game had to offer and had a respected active roster of 140 members, videos on Youtube, and anything else Perfect World, the developers of Neverwinter, could throw at us accomplished they release Mod6, the latest Neverwinter patch, this patch caused issues for players all throughout Neverwinter, lag, rubberbanding, crashes, the list goes on. So we wait. The problems still persist today, this be the reason why we are here, the lack of Perfect World and the developers attention to the problem caused activity issues for our community, being the reason why we have decided to expand and reach out for members who are willing to join us and help us re-build our community here on Destiny. 1 ReplyAvoid the assumption that those with little to no experience are of no value. There are good people out there, most of which are doing what you do. Scraping and clawing to keep up with everyone else. So if your trying to win win win the game forever, go right ahead. Wanna laugh your ass off? Find some people who together make a really cohesive group that has endless fun hanging out.

6 RepliesAs clan leader of The Guardian's of the Opaque I look for people who not only need help but who give help in return. We're not interested in carrying people Through rounds but to pull their weight and if new willing to learn and listen! If your a new clan leader be patient, you'll deal with a lot of BS, and not all your clan mates will get along and many clan mates live in different time zones! But all in al be patient, dig In and find solid admins, and recruit!

Don't be afraid to talk to people. It's not hard to block them if they don't work out. Just be nice and help each other.

I'm an admin for a very active clan that has players in all time zones (as the founder is from the Neatherlands) so there's even people playing at 4 in the morning! Lol. If you guys are looking for an active (PS4) clan search "The Exceptionals" we're always booting inactive players (no hard feelings) we're already capped out on the original Exceptionals clan so you'll be forwarded to "The Exceptionals II" but can still participate in the main group chat where everyone is at (about 200+ members) All we ask for is to be active and talk on the group wall. Make friends and game together! All ages are welcomed. Mention me as a referral if you'll like. Happy hunting guardians!

I've seen someone else post this but I think it's worth stating again. 1. Don't seek members just to have big numbers in your clan. Sometimes a smaller group allows you to form better bonds with the people you are playing with and this makes the experience much, much better. 2. Decide what you want your clan to be about and then focus on finding people who fit that description. If you know that you want mature players in your group then stick to that and don't accept someone just because you need one more guy. It's not fun if you feel like you need to avoid people in your group because they aren't mature, etc. Remember if you have any doubts about someone it's better to turn them down and move on then to accept them and potentially turn your clan into clan drama. 3. Always be willing to help the members of your clan. As the founder and leader, people who join our clans often look to us for help and advice. You should always be patient and helpful to those who have chosen to follow under your banner. Just know that after you've finished your weekly duties, you should be the first one offering help to all other members. 4. Have fun! No matter what you do or who you surround yourself with always remember that this is a video game and it's something you should be doing for fun. If things become a chore or feel too much like work, take a break for awhile. Just be sure that if you do take a break you should promote at least one person if not three to admins. These people can hold down the fort for you and keep everything running smoothly while you collect yourself.

A clan to me is a group of players, who have grown familiar with each other, became friends over vast distances, and have come together over a shared interest. Its important to cultivate interaction between new members and long time clan mates and get them into the fight early, and form lasting gaming experiences with the group. It makes me happy to see two players, who never had many friends to play with, come into our clan and hook up with all the other members, and be able to complete content they haven't been able to experience alone.
