Completely Impossible Lv 35 PoE. BUNGIE MUST ANSWER FOR THIS!!!
I and my fireteam of two others have just spent an entire day preparing for Lv 35 Prison of Elders. We began the mission in the afternoon, all lv 34, all with powerful gear, mostly ascended. I am a Sunsinger Warlock, my friends Bladedancer Hunter and Defender Titan. WE SPENT OVER FIVE HOURS IN THE PRISON OF ELDERS AND WE COULD. NOT. COMPLETE IT. Skolas is IMPOSSIBLE to kill, literally impossible. We get swarmed BY F***ING ARC BURN LV35 SHANKS. WE GET MURDERED OVER AND OVER AGAIN BY VANDALS AND CAPTAINS. WE SPEND AGES LOOKING FOR THE FREAKING SERVITOR THAT WE NEED TO KILL TO EVEN HURT SKOLAS!!!!!! AND WHEN WE FINALLY FIND IT SKOLAS RUNS AWAY LIKE A BIG BABY!!!!!!!! We cannot reduce him even to half-health! And once we had had enough? After giving us SIX ROUNDS TO SLOG THROUGH??! We get NOTHING!!! NOTHING AT ALL FOR HOURS AND HOURS OF EFFORT!!!!! This game is B******T and if Bungie do NOTHING to fix this or compensate these three once Destiny-lovers, I'm done. I can't play this anymore.
My Gamertag is: BG Written MLP on Xbox 360.
My Teammates were: BG Digital MLP as the Titan and: luna nightmar3 as the Hunter.
Please help spread the word about this, I can't take any more.

It took several hours of trial and error until everything finally clicked and we beat hime without any deaths. It was very satisfying. I really like that they changed the burn for this week to force people to actually experience the mecbanics of the fight. We started by running to the left, two dropped the servitor and I dropped weapons of light with saint 14 in front of the door where adds spawn. We brought him down to half health and rotated to the right side of the room. Here we only spent enough time to exchange the poison. As soon as it was exchanged we ran to our right, around the room, and back to the first position. We did have to stop mid rotation to exchange the poison again at times. Just be sure to know and communicate if this needs to be done, ahead of time. Repeat this rotation and you will have him down in no time. Just be certain to keep whittling down adds, but don't put your self at risk by being too focused on them. You need to stick and move between the two positions. If you have questions let me know.

It's not impossible...you just need an actually good team decent arc weapons. Not to mention a defender titan would help a lot [spoiler]The only reason I say it's possible is because me and two others did it[/spoiler]

I've done it three times today. Took like 7 hours first time lol. Just go to gally spot on left. Pop WoL.. Snipe with any decent 365 sniper. Synth in bubble and kill. Once you get used to the strategy it works a treat trust me

8 RepliesHow bad are gamers now that you can't beat this lol. I would've loved to see you attempt ocarina of time...or super mario 64...or metroid prime...games that actually had a bit of difficulty to them, come on its seriously just grabbing an arc burn wep and a shotgun and not sucking asshole

We did it without Titans or Gjallarhorns (even though all 3 of us have 3+ each). We used Fatebringer and Patience and Time/4th Horseman. Did it without using anyone else's strategies either, the fight is literally the same as last week only arc burn. We finished the entire thing in like an hour or so. I guess since they aren't going to nerf the activity you'll stop playing. Fine with me, one less person whining on the forums. Later.

12 RepliesWho ever has beaten and says its not hard is lying.its truly horrible it took me roughly 1 hour to get to skolas followed by 3 hours to kill him. It's hard and you and your team have to be in perfect sync to get it. My strat was go left I was a hunter and had 2 Titans who popped weapons of light bubbles spaced out.i fired as much shots before synthing and then hit him while my team synth too.....after that I hit him with one more clip and head across to get the mine with my blade dancer. It's horrible and I will not do it again this week. P.s the loot was terrible afterwards,honestly I had better loot drop in the level 28 then that.god damn waste of time if anything but I just hate not completing something I put time into.
