Level 34 Prison of Elders is too hard :(
Stupid fourth round with arc burn.
Bungie - "Why don't we put arc burn in a round with a shitton of knights that can two shot you and 3 wizards that are conplete bullet sponges. And why don't we -blam!-ing put an objective right in the middle of all the mobs."
Rant over, please help me with a strategy.
Edit - Did the whole PoE in 45 minutes. My previous team just weren't as easy to deal with.

Give it some time. A few weeks down the road you'll have end game stuff with maxed armor and you'll think it's easy. You won't believe you had a hard time with it.

For some reason if you have someone jump up there before the 2nd wave starts it glitches out and the horde won't enter the arena till you walk next to the doors they come through - idk if the rock actually has anything to do with it but this was consistent in L32 & L34 for me. Makes objectives easy and let's your team prep for the wave. If anyone else has noticed this or if it is consistent, comment and let me know

Oh, and here I tought we wanted a challenging game. Lol, my team, 3 33's beat it in an hour. We had hive with arc burn before the boss as well.

Thubderlord does wonders on this level. We didn't wipe, and we had bubbles for days.

If you have 2 hunters its easy. Have them go invisible while diffusing the mines and they wont draw any fire then take your time killing adds. Its easy once you use the right strategy

Hell no its not too hard. We did it with all level 32's and one of each class. It was fun as hell. Props to my teammates.

Edited by moke: 5/21/2015 3:09:04 PMSit in the far left. There a place with two small stairs providing enough cover. The enemies only come up the stairs. Have a blade dancer grab the middle and far away objective by going invisible. You can crouch, super or even knife the mine to go invisible. The other two shoot the adds and grab the objective next to them. I've completed it three times now as a lvl 33 team and only wiped once or twice on that round using this strat. It looked so hard on the reveal stream:p

Are you talking about the final boss or the entire thing.

That round is more difficult than the boss in round 5. But you just have to play safe. An invis hunter helps a lot.

We beat it in 30min with 33s. a hunter, warlock, and titan. Took us a few tries, but we got it eventually. Sucky part was the connection got bumped after round 5 so we got nothing out of our run. :(
