This happened to us a lot. I don't know whether it's intended or not but it's quite annoying

I think it's intended. Every time it did it for me my screen would get white and static-y for a brief second before teleporting.

Yeah it's intended it means your to far out so it'll teleport you near the middle of the map it happened to my mate every time he went to far goo way of making sure your always in the action bad if your 1 shot lol
