Time zones and Deej
Enlighten me Guardians why Deej is unable to give a few other time zones in his announcements other than bloody Pacific time?
Edit: for people that suggest googling time, consider this: is it reasonable to include additional time zones in announcement to the international public?
Or you are too -blam!-ing stupid to comprehend it?

Headquarters are on the west coast of the U.S. It's only logical that they would use their time zone. It's not that far fetched dude

There are over 24 different time zones in the world. Yes, I said over 24. Some time zones are split over daylight savings time observation. I'd be willing to bet that we have at least a few players in every single one of them. You want Deej to post every single one of them for every single update? Not only is that impractical, but it is extremely ill advised. One little mistake in converting one of the time zones because of some quirk of that time zone's scheduling, and suddenly a whole lotta people are pissed at you. So, no. Deej is not your Google buddy.

10 am PST is 1 pm in my zone(est) I think that would be 6 pm GMT It would be helpful for them to list for others though

Yeah, everywhere i go on the internet they always give me time zones for everyone. They dont want to leave anyone out so they put as many different time zones on one announcement as possible. Most places just figure people are so dumb and lazy that they dont know how to or cant use google or math or figure out how their time differs from another time. I mean, how am i supposed to ever figure things out if you dont tell everyone what time something happens in their own time zone. Stupid people not letting me be lazy.

"Google it" "Use the internet" "Why should they, america rules the world" "MURICA" I agree that even a GMT timing would help the rest of us work out what was going on...rather than PDT or PSD or PMS or PMT or what the -blam!- they use. It would avoid lots of post asking why stuff isn't working or accessible

4 RepliesI'm sure Deej is physically [i]capable[/i] of putting in random timezones to help you out, but you are just as capable of doing it yourself. The game has been out since September 2014, & times have always been marked as PST. What changed from then to now to cause your complaining?

It would be just as easy to add GMT and other major time zones to their announcements as it is for us to google it. Is it a huge deal that they don't? Not really. I know the left coast is 3 hours behind EST, if you do your homework in the future you will be able to convert the time without google.

2 RepliesIf you haven't figured it out now, Bungie runs out of America, specifically Pacific Time. Write yourself a note with a simple plus or minus value and then staple it to your forehead and maybe you'll remember next time there's an update.
