Why is everybody so hyped about celestial nighthawk?
The only thing thing that seems good to me is that extra jump, increased accuracy after jumping seems pretty pointless to me.

You should read up on it the perks have changed.

1 ReplyWell for one it means nothing will live from golden gun in pvp (it's currently possible to do so) and if you have weapons of light+ solar burn+ 2 level advantage on the enemy you do more damage then Ghorn will ever do in the same instance. (unless you count using all your ghorn ammo. then not sure)

The perks for it have changed, making the Golden Gun 6x more powerful, but all in one shot. It can make Hunters more PvE usable.

35 RepliesGolden Gun DMG= 5702 ×6 from C NH ×3 from Solar Burn =102636 DMG Ghorn on solar Burn= 24549 DMG That's 4.18× damage Edit: Oh yeah, plus Weapons of light. Which would bring it up to 136506 DMG. Against Ghorn's 32651. Edit 2: Also, being a higher light level increases super damage, so it might be even more than this. To put in perspective how much more DMG, before the TDB, GG did about 3k damage. With it now being 5k, we can expect it to go up to 7k, bc the difference between 30 and 32 is the same as the difference between 32 and 34 So 7000 ×6 from C NH ×3 from Solar Burn ×1.33 from weapons of light = 167580 DMG No idea how this will compare to 365 gjally...

Imagine this, With math, everything like weapons of light, arc burn, ect. That one shot can deal 200000 Damage, and it's really fast to recharge with the perk killing minions of darkness Regien super energy with Bad juju. Your a living tank.

It makes golden gun useful honestly when I use my hunter in PvE there's no use for a super when the enemies are high level it does nothing. That's adding to the fact thay it looks bad ass

1 ReplyYou guys are all wrong. The exotic perk for Celestial Nighthawk isnt bonus jumping accuracy. Go to vogloot.com and check the loot table for HoW. Newly updated perks for all exotics and weapons

It doesn't do increased accuracy after jumping. It give you one golden gun shot that does 6x damage and over penetrates.

It has new perks now. 6x gg damage but you only have one shot. Also gives keyhole

13 RepliesIt would seem you're a bit behind. Several of the exotic perks have been changed. Celestial Nighthawk now changes the Hunter's 3 Golden Gun shots into one massively concentrated shot that does 6x the usual damage and provides the Keyhole perk. Now the Gunslinger's super will be more on par with the other Supers in PvE.

Perks changed, now its one gg shot only but it does 6 times damage ;)
