I got news that the bomber got the death sentence instead of life in the locker. What do you guys think? I think it was fine to give him the death penalty but I don't really care, bottom line is that he was punished.

64 RepliesExecuting him will accomplish nothing other than to satisfy people's bloodlust, and because of that, those people are no better than members of groups who wish death upon others, like ISIS.
-
2 RepliesYes. Someone like that should die. Also, why are we testing on animals when there are pedophiles in prison? Think about that.
-
I think the death penalty was the right call. He's a terrorist and murderer and should pay the ultimate penalty of his life
-
1 ReplyHe's just going to end up being another martyr.

Edited by KDC: 5/19/2015 9:06:14 PMHe deserves it. He kills, justice will return the favor. You can't be all boo-hoo he's going to die, you shouldn't take pity on a killer.
-
Should be put a ward to fix him imo
-
2 RepliesThis decision is just beyond illogical. Considering in his mind and the minds of many muslim extremists he is now a martyr who will go to heaven and get 70 bitches or whatever. So at the end of the day, this is just a stupid waste of time.
-
6 RepliesI think he should have been imprisoned for life. By giving him a death penalty, you make his life short and easy. Also, murder is a crime, so why kill this man and lower to his level?
-
1 ReplyHe deserves it but it may cause retaliation. We have to prove that we are better than these piles of shit.

One bullet to the head would save a lot of time and money

Death was the easy way out for him. Have you heard how they treat the inmates at the Colorado supermax. He got off easy if you ask me.
-
Regardless he's going to rot in federal prison for at least 10 years before he gets killed most likely.
-
I say do him like he did those people

When did this thread get so big?!

1 ReplyKill him and move on. I got more important stuff to not care about.

1 ReplyHim and Tom Brady should share a cell.

Edited by NaLo: 5/19/2015 10:46:51 AMI never understood institutionalized revenge killing. Force him to work or something instead so that he can contribute something to society. Killing him just makes him a martyr.

Edited by The Waifu Master: 5/16/2015 3:25:39 AM>Punishment ffs It's not punishment. People who think the prison system should be used for punishment are stupid -blam!-s that think an eye for an eye is a good idea. It's for rehabilitation. Life in prison is for people who can't live in the real would but haven't proven they would be damaging to the prison system. Death penalty is what happens when they've proven they can't exist without causing damage. Edit: OT: I'm fine with the sentencing.

6 RepliesHe should have death by firecracker!
-
I think he definitely deserved it

Edited by kryple: 5/19/2015 10:18:49 AMWe need to swiftly and publicly kill anyone who has willingly killed innocents. We would rid the world of some corruption and save tax dollars. Win win. Oh and a bullet is cheaper than a syringe, but a blade can be reused.

5 RepliesHe's getting lethal injection. I would have made it a firing squad. That one bullet cost a lot less than all of those chemicals.

11 RepliesEdited by Eluminary: 5/16/2015 5:35:34 PMLife in prison would have been cheaper and a worse overall life... as others in the thread have noticed he us an attractive young man ... those are quite popular in prison... not in the good way. Plus he killed a child also quite frowned upon in prison. Also killed a cop which really makes the guards like you and treat you well (sarcasm) I'm generally against the death penalty due primarily to the fact no justice system is perfect and it will from time to time give a death penalty to an innocent person, however in this case guilt was agreed to by all parties so its not really an issue. Its probably not worth the millions of dollars spent on the mandatory appeals spreas out over decades though. Even the parents of the dead kid wanted life in prison so they don't have to sit through the long appeals process.

54 RepliesEdited by banned4ever lol: 5/19/2015 1:37:08 AMIt's a stupid ruling. Now he'll be remembered as a martyr, which is precisely what they wanted. They could've just gave him life behind bars and studied him for the remainder of his life, possibly helping preventing future cases such as this one. But American revenge strikes again.
