Why does everyone say that Gally will get needed if everyone has it ?? Its mainly going to be used for pve and I don't think people want a gun that does less damage just because everyone has one

Wasn't there gossip that Bungie used an RNG weighted towards newer Exotics? We don't even know if they use physical dice to roll Xûr's table or something else electronic. Heck, DeeJ may have lied and Bungie really does pick the items every week. How awesome would it be if Bungie was trolling us all for the last seven months? :-) I think the next big hope is we have a Legendary Tracking Wolfpack Launcher like the Hunger of Crota in the rotating PoE purchasable loot tables. It would be a smart way to backfill some of the game design errors.

Who cares the only really good use for it is taking down crota and after we all go to level 34 it will be easy to do with even a tracking one way ticket on hard so there's no use for it now

Yeah it's been confirmed that it will happen the 22nd. Deej admitted this too, and it makes sense. Think about it: everyone will be upgrading shit once the dlc is out, being forced to upgrade the launcher with everything else will encourage the grind on a shitload of people. The reason these keys are obtainable now is because destiny's population dropped. BUNGIE wants more people getting on before the dlc arrives, and Gjallarhorn is meant to carry out that incentive. Their attempt with Thunderlord failed miserably.
