Honestly I would say no. I love raids, but destiny in general is not a hard game. What do you think?

Raids is all about teamwork, communication, knowing the mechanics, learning different things (relic/sword), and it is a superb team experience. PvP requires much more skills, but its more individual imho.
-
5 RepliesRaids take skill the first day they drop. Then cheeses flood and it's just a shit show.
-
Knowledge and communication will get less skillful players through a raid
-
More than Crucible lol
-
No, just the knowledge of when to move to a certain location and some lvled gear.
-
If you pick up relic and don't know how to use it *boot* so skill/Nope
-
It requires the correct weapons and skill to use those weapons. So yes and no. Also the sword bearer needs good timing which qualifies as skill, so yes and no.
-
Crotas end only requires one person who knows what's going on vog needs 3 or 4
-
Skill? No Team work? Not on CE, strictly VoG
-
Yes because teamwork. More so with Vog than crota (all my raids were on Xbox 360 before moving to ps4)
-
2 RepliesCompared to Strikes yes Compared to WoW raids no.
-
Not skill knowledge
-
No not to much skill just good teamwork will take a good team over op guns all day
-
I want to say no, but the experiences with bad groups made me say yes.
-
They require teamwork more than anything. That teamwork eventually just becomes routine though.
-
Vog? Yes. CE? No.
-
They don't really require much skill as apposed to just team coordination.
-
For the first couple of weeks raid completions mean something. After that they are nothing to write home about
-
To win or complete To not die ever ? Yes that takes skills Having the hunter in the team run the thralls takes no skill Getting all 6 to the bridge takes skills on ce hard Define "skills" and then ask the question
-
The first few raids you ever play will need skill&quick learning. But really, after maybe around 10 full completions from start to finish you can already memorize spawn patterns, possible AI movements(Where they might go), and pretty much almost everything. All you need is the skill to execute those things

3 RepliesIf you want to do it fast and clean, skill is required. But if you all have a few hours to burn and are willing, skill isn't needed. You do it over and over to learn what you're doing wrong and then it all works out eventually. Unless it's getting teleported Venus side on VoG during Atheon and the Minotaur glitches. -blam!- that guy.

Edited by OnThaLoose: 5/9/2015 11:56:51 PMAre they hard for me to complete? No, done em over 100 times. Are they hard for randoms? Yes, as apparent if you join a pub group. So yes, I say they require skill, atleast while you're learning them.
-
Yes raids require the skill to listen and know your role. That's it. Can you listen? Check. Can you do the job/role? Check. Do you talk to much or annoyingly? No. Then you are good by me.
