If you had Light 32 PvE only Raiders play against Light 32 from Iron Banner who would win in a 6v6 match? Obviously the IB 32's. Being skilled in PvP just makes you better at the game overall.
This post isn't against the PvE only players. Just the ones who act like Crota's Raid gear requires more skill than Iron Banner gear.
Edit 1: Be sure to read the paragraph above. This post is only a response against the people who I see post on the forums that call IB 32's fake 32's.
Oh yea and..... VoG is the ONLY raid worthy of calling yourself a Raider. A full set of VoG armor is the only Raid armor that is impressive to have. VoG-MasterRace

I have both sets and I use the IB gear because I think it looks cool. I'm okay a both PVP and PVE. Not bad but not great
-
tbh it Doesn't matter what kit you have it all takes skill to get we should be helping each other and not squabbling
-
Got both but the raid gear has better perks, that being said the IB gear looks a lot better
-
I'm mainly a pve guy. This is my first ever iron banner and I'd say I do pretty darn good. 1.8kd last I checked. Almost as many assists as I have deaths.
-
OK... Bring a PvP player to the raid and make them figure it out, ignorant $h!t
-
But it does
-
Thats kind of an unfair competition, if the pvp players go do pve then obviously pve players will win. WUT.
-
I'm both boom
-
I got both so double win!
-
But why do you have to be either a pvp or pve player?
-
Both armor is easy to obtain lol
-
Sure IB players would beat Raiders in PVP. Makes sense, then the raiders would beat the IB players in raids... Duh. How does this make one better at the game overall? Since the majority of the game (in my opinion) is pve then the raiders would be better "overall"
-
1 ReplyFull iron banner is harder to obtain than full Crota end simply because Crota armor drops like candy and resets every week iron banner u have a short amount of time to grind out rank 5 then have to wait like a month or so till it resets
-
It's just a matter of play style. In 6v6 the PvP players would generally win and in a raid the raiders would do better. I'm more of a raider but play PvP for fun. I'm probably the 7th worst PvP player in destiny and even worse in IB. Still gonna hit rank 4 at least out of sheer tenacity. It is doable but painful.

2 RepliesI say PvP players are way more skilled than PvE players (and I play more PvE and I'm not great at PvP). In the Crucible, every match is completely different. You're fighting real people that have a real reaction time and they won't (always) blindingly walk right into enemy fire and just stand there. They use different weapons and have different attributes and abilities than AI enemies. PvP > PvE
-
PvP just requires more skill, you are faced against real people with real strategies not just an ai
-
You need different skills. Well actually it's more of strategy.
-
2 RepliesBoth suck compared to VOG lvl 30. Them olden times of the real skilled players
-
What if I told you that sometimes... Just sometimes.... People who play pvp also play pve and vice versa. A 32 is a 32. I know guys who only play pve and suck at raids...
-
I have level 32 iron banner friend which wouldn't know what a relic is....
-
3 RepliesBut none of them can beat VoG hard
-
Neither require true skill... They're like giving trophies to the entire kids team. Eventually everyone gets them.
-
Who cares
-
7 RepliesI have both, but crotas end 32 aren't in the least bit prestigious. I have more respect for vog 30's who just wear the armor around the tower. Then IB 32's, because tbh its still not that hard. Then crotas end 32's
-
Both don't require any skill perse since you can easily be carried through both. I don't often play pvp, only IB and Ive reached rank 5 on friday the last 5 IB's. Even with horrible scores you can be on the winning team at least once every 5 matches and that's what counts. In CE I can carry basically anyone through the entire raid and even get them their flawless raider trophy since I can solo it flawless.

If you do that you would have to see who does Crota's End better. IB gear is built for pvp while Raid is for pve. But in my opinion IB takes more skill to get just because Crota's End armor drop rate is pretty high and the raid it's self isn't challenging. Also I say it'd take skill to get IB armor early on in the week. Not when buff carries. But back before TDB, VoG raid gear took more grinding. Sorry for rant.
