If you had Light 32 PvE only Raiders play against Light 32 from Iron Banner who would win in a 6v6 match? Obviously the IB 32's. Being skilled in PvP just makes you better at the game overall.
This post isn't against the PvE only players. Just the ones who act like Crota's Raid gear requires more skill than Iron Banner gear.
Edit 1: Be sure to read the paragraph above. This post is only a response against the people who I see post on the forums that call IB 32's fake 32's.
Oh yea and..... VoG is the ONLY raid worthy of calling yourself a Raider. A full set of VoG armor is the only Raid armor that is impressive to have. VoG-MasterRace

5 RepliesThis guy is just like trying to start a war lmfao

I actually kinda tried for the IB gear unlike my CE gear.
-
Edited by HolyHalo: 5/3/2015 8:15:20 PMI have a full set of IB gear on my hunter. All of my characters have full VoG and CE gear.
-
1 ReplyI'd be in the middle swinging my rod. Since I have a 24% raid kd and a 1.9 PvP kd ( so far) I wouldn't be wearing crotas end gear though. That shit is ugly
-
1 ReplyI have both so....which side would I be on?
-
1 ReplyHave 32 IB gear, I dominated IB and got rank 5 in like 3 days. And I hate crucible, that doesn't mean I'm not very good. it's the most worthless piece of shit game type. I raid and do pve day everyday
-
1 ReplyI have full 32 gear from both pve and pvp. Do I get to kill people on both teams?
-
1 ReplyI have both sets of gear, oh crap where do I go? *pulls hair out* this is too much! *runs to the tower's suicide planks*
-
2 RepliesI have both. So why is this even a thing?
-
You really dont have to be "good" in IB just win enough and u get it , i suck at Crucible , i have the chest piece and the gaunlets , working on my helmet its all dedication , same as Raid crap , not every time you run a raid you will get what u need plus only once a week and then grind Materials
-
1 ReplyI agree. I have all crota gear which was not hard at all. I have the iron banner helmet, arms and chest. Now I feel like I have put a lot more effort into getting the iron banner gear. Looks better too.
-
2 RepliesHaving full IB gear doesn't mean you are skilled sir.
-
5 RepliesYet all 32 in IB, are using CE gear.
-
Crota gear means nothing lol he dropped it like candy. It looks nice but it's made from sharp cheddar cheese. We all cheesed it though amirite? When HoW drops the VoG sets are coming out!
-
Flame war initiated!
-
2 RepliesThats interesting......im a pve player mostly and if you compare pvp stats i shit on you.....i play pvp mainly when iron banner is out or trying to beat bungie challenges. Please dont act high and mighty cause you have ib gear. Dude your stats looked like you get carried.
-
What if someone told you that you can be both? Lol.
-
3 RepliesRaid players will always come on top ! I'll destroy any Iron Banner player
-
I remember back when I finally got level 30. How great it felt. Wish I had kept my armor. Now I have to grind to get it back
-
6 RepliesI have a full set of Crota and VOG gear. Trying to get a full set of IB gear so I have options. I just wish the gauntlets increased reload speed of hand cannons.
-
It's pretty equal actually. I have full sets of both and they both had their difficulties but neither is really hard to get
-
3 RepliesMost of you cheesed to get your iron banner gear not turning off your console to buy it with old rep
-
Edited by Ktan_Dantaktee: 5/3/2015 4:48:53 PMIron Banner 32 is harder to achieve than CE 32. The armor looks better too. Like seriously, I can easily get CE armor without actually killing anything. Think about that. As a Raider, I have to say Iron Banner/Osiris gear is a much more impressive trophy.
-
2 RepliesAll I can say is this: 1) 32 is 32. No matter how you get it. Some people like pvp and other pve. 2) if a player can do well at both, maybe they choose to use IB armor to be 32 because... crota raid armor looks like s**t. Imo anyway
-
2 RepliesHow does been skilled in pvp make you skilled in the game overall? So a level 32 iron banner who has never raided would be able to pick up the Aegis shield and do the raid? I dont think so.

Edited by Alice: 5/3/2015 6:02:27 PMI've solo Crota End, every encounter without cheese and crota himself. I cannot solo IB. And usually have to get a fireteam to consistently chain wins. PvP has always been, and always will be much more intense and difficult than PvE. You are not playing against programmed A.I., you are playing against other humans like yourself. This means, normally predictable behaviors- Crotations, orges spawning, pulling wizards etc are no longer viable to be predicted. You must face against behaviors that change on a whim- rage at that nova bomb might cause the titan to fist of panic you, instead of point B. As well as communication and teamwork is a dangerous tool unavailable to AI. Ever variable behaviors and teamwork(against you) is what makes PvP so much more complex and challenging than PvE. If AI were more intrinsically programmed to work together in battling guardians and that their behaviors changed at random or when favorable conditions occur, that would be a different story. Think if Crota crotated whenever? Or if Atheon teleported at whenever? Or if Crota's oversoul spawned randomly? See how taking away the predictably and adding a humanistic nature of variables makes things much more difficult? End of day- Orges spawn after 2 swordbearers, Atheon always teleports after time's vengence, Orges are snipped 15 secs after touching the plate at abyss etc etc. This is why PvP players that are successful at PvP, are generally better players. Bael out.
