58 RepliesWhat Bungie needs to realize is BUYING the game did NOT take 3 or 6 people I walked in alone and bought the game. I bought the expansion pack by myself I DID NOT NEED A TEAM to do so. If I want to play the game I should NOT have to have 2 or 5 friends on at all times. If i want to raid there SHOULD be matchmaking. If I want to play ToO I should be able to WITH matchmaking. If I want to play Prison of Elders I should be able to with matchmaking. BUNGIE: Please implement ** OPTIONAL ** matchmaking into the game it only makes sense.

Or allow solo'ing like Nightfalls. God help them if they're stupid enough to introduce even more content - PAID FOR - that half of the user base won't use. It's because of this sort of idiocy that only one person in my friends list still plays at all.

Edited by Lucius Aelius: 4/30/2015 11:32:45 PMI wouldn't say it will kill Destiny, but of course it should have matchmaking, [b][u]every[/u][/b] multiplayer activity should have [b][u]optional[/u][/b] matchmaking, and they should make that matchmaking as good as they can knowing that of course it won't be perfect. That way people who want to form their own teams can, and the people who want to matchmake can do that too. Everybody wins, nobody loses, the only reason not to is laziness on Bungie's part. And even if they want to focus on this LFG model of matchmaking then the very least they should do is include an LFG system in the game itself instead of leaving it up to third party websites with people posting in a dozen different threads on a dozen different sites to find matches. Having a centralized LFG system created and maintained by Bungie is the [b][u]only[/u][/b] proper way this LFG model can be implemented, the way it is now is incredibly half-assed and Bungie should be ashamed of themselves (and should be slapped if they ever call themselves the inventors of matchmaking again).

Ugh, really? Another "___ needs matchmaking"? Is it THAT hard to use destinylfg? You clearly have access to a computer/ mobile device. This is ridiculous. Besides, do you really want people going AFK and using terrible weapons with terrible armor?
