The Truth About Hawkmoon

I just got hawkmoon on Friday and I was
so excited, but in the short time I've played with it I've realized a few things, it's not that easy at all...to win a firefight.
The 3 bullets can be anywhere in that huge 13 round magazine, so most of the time you just gotta depend on its base damage witch doesn't do to much to another player.
It is so hard to control Hawkmoons recoil, thorns recoil is just as bad but thorn has the DoT unlike hawkmoon. If you shoot another player, and it's the magic bullet they start jumping all over the place or run off, they either recover or you're teammate gets them. You spend to much time fighting the gun while fighting off you're opponent. Don't get me wrong it is an amazing gun, it's iron sights makes landing headshots from a distance extremely easy.
Lastly [b]Hawkmoon[/b] is like a woman you gotta bathe her, spoil her and spend time with her, the more time you give her the better you get to know her. She is your partner trust in her and she will reward you.
If you get killed with hawkmoon don't get mad send that player a mad respect message because they earned that kill

I got 3 OHK's in a row today with hawkmoon. I could not believe my luck. Took shot, got kill, reloaded, took shot, got kill, reloaded, took shot, got kill, reloaded, then I got arc bladed. It was insane though.

I tried it in crucible and honestly it's not a weapon for me (as any hand cannon for that matter). I did pretty well, don't get me wrong, but weapon like red death suits me a lot better. But as someone already mentioned, in cabale hands, Hawkmoon can be really deadly.

9 RepliesHawkmoon is one of the easiest guns to use, it's three shots to kill, two with a lucky bullet. If you can't hit 2-3 shots, then you have a problem. The truth about you : get good.

From reading this thread and the several hundred others just like it, there's no question that a lot people are determining which guns require the most skill based on what they have, and what they think kills them the most...and nothing else. Everyone is mysteriously an omnipotent expert on PVP weapons...especially the ones they don't have. You just can't make this kind of lunacy up.

4 RepliesIn my experience, from using all three of the exotic handcannons, I think it's TLW that takes the most skill to use effectively. But then again, don't mind me, I'm really bad at pvp regardless of what weapon I use. Lol.

I got Hawkmoon a few days from the Gorgon chest, and it's pretty great. Definitely lives up to the hype. I'm not really a Hand Cannon person, but this gun just has a good [i]feel[/i] to it. It might not be my go-to everything gun, but it's certainly versatile and fun to use. [spoiler]still have a sweet spot for Scout Rifles though. luv u Badger <3[/spoiler]
