Why do people pronounce Phogoth wrong...
It is not [b][u]FOE-GOTH[/u][/b] people! It's [b][u]FUH-GOTH[/u][/b]. PHO is pronounced FUH! Get it right, git gewd.
Edit 1: I have a masters certificate in literature arts; sooooo I'm pretty sure I know more well than you. Seriously, controll your emotions, and let's just have an intelligent discussion about this.
Edit 2: People's knowledge on fuhnetics is embarrassing, and the ignorance on this thread really just getting out of controll. We all just need to relax, and go play some patroll in the cosmodrome. Maybe play a little controll after.

You're telling us to act civil when you all but explicitly called us uneducated swine. The sad thing about it all is language is constantly evolving. Phonetics are different based on dialect and language. How about Read read and red? How explaining actual words instead of trying to dictate the sound of a word that you had absolutely no part in creating. If who ever created Phogoth says it's pronounced FOE•Goth it's foe•goth. Just like that -blam!-ing ass who says Gif is pronounced "jif" like the peanut butter. It's ok to politely ignore them and pronounce it as you please but by no means should it be a boon that makes you feel better than everyone else.

I pronounce Phogoth as that's the way Bungie says it and since its there creation I can't really call them on how it's pronounced.
