The most evil game designer / producer; By capn 89 There is a game designer out there that is incrimentally worse than activison... Heres a list of their sins DID spend 12 million dollars on the rights to a franchise name DID give the game they were making 7 months to be made to drop before christmas DID have the minimalist outlook on quality cuz they spent its budget on rights to a name DID cause the entirety of the video game market TO FCKNG CRASH!!!!! Figure it out? ATARI is the evilst because it has origional sin, The first to -blam!- us out of millions of dollars with pisspor quality and rushed deadlines Actvision is just following in its masters footsteps BOOM absolved haha!

neither for they are a company and all companies are out to make a profit first, keep all customers happy and content second. this is the reality of life and of video games and always will be no matter if players like it or not ever. Until a gamer who does not wish control over a game comes around and just drops 500M at a game studio this will be how it always will be.

1 ReplyThe "big 3" publishers all screw consumers overs at some point. Milked for DLC, low quality games thrown out on a regular basis and games that need patching several times just to get them to work because they were rushed out. EA has been voted worst company in America twice, Activision isn't far behind them and Ubisoft is competing to get their name thrown in too. The thing is, I don't hate them. They are in it to make money. They get away with it because people will pay for everything they dish out. If people hadn't accepted all this crap when it started then we wouldn't be in the mess we are now with lazy products. Long story short, I don't blame the publishers, I blame us. We're the ones that let it happen.

2 RepliesIf you know the history of bungie you know that they used to only make games for apple. This was long before apple was cool. When myth 2 was released it came out on apple over a year before it was released on windows. Rumor at the time was Microsoft offerd them lots of money to release one of the highest praised computer games of the time on windows. Halo was several years into production and was to be a computer game also when it was suddenly announced that the company was bought by Microsoft and was going to be an exclusive game on the new Xbox . rumor also at the time was they were having some financial issues and needed the funding behind them to finish what was to be what became one of the most important and influential games of the generation. Cut to 10 years later bungie finally escaped from the soul crushing clutches of one evil corporation and falls into the arms of another evil corperation with the promise of huge amounts of money for their next franchise destiny. The problem is that they lose the freedoms they need to make the art that we all know they have the talent and drive to make. But hey without the money behind them we would never even have the game to complain about. At least this time we can play on the PlayStation also.

Bad. Oh, so bad. Bungie and Microsoft was a really good mix for halo. If activision funded halo then I'm sure bungie wouldn't be around anymore. I hope that if they do decide to make D2 and D3 that they pick a different publisher. Hell, even if it was a sony game and a ps4 exclusive (I'm on the 360 before all of you xbox fanboys start bitching) it would be better then this current PoS

1 ReplyCoD player. When Activision had a payment issue with Infinity Ward in MW2 is the first time I started to realize what type of company they are. They are melting CoD away, hopefully the same doesn't happen to Destiny.

Activision is scum of the Earth, the things Bobby Kotick has said about gamers prove they care nothing about the fun and experience of games, and only care about the $. Thats why they call it A¢tivi$ion. Activision is never responsible for good games, or anything to do with good games, they are a publisher and all they have ever done is force games to release early, cut back content, create day 1 DLC that would have normally been included for free, and generally just force developers to release "less than" content for the sake of a Dollar. Anyone who voted for them is a Troll or paid off, even Hitler and Jeffery Dahmer would vote against them.

I will stand by the idea that Destiny was released earlier than Bungie would have liked due to pressure from Activision, and that Activision was behind chopping up content into DLC... For that I voted "bad." Activision does provide money and publishing which is positive. If they stop forcing Bungie into bad decisions my opinion will change. I'm waiting for Comet to decide if that's happened.
