I don't know, I feel like this will screw over the more casual players, who Xur is aimed at aanyway. The casual players are more likely to not stay up to some obscene hour to get the gun before it's sold out, while the "hardcore/elite" players will more likely do it. I say Xur is aimed at the casual players because the hardcore players are all getting very close to complete exotic collections, making Xur more and more irrelevant for them.
