Prove God doesn't exist and I will convert to atheism

8 RepliesThere is no proof besides a book.... You are putting your life in the faith of a BOOK. Also, it has been proven how the earth was made.. The Big Bang. Bunches of clumps of rock came together and made the earth. Various particles banded together to form different substances and eventually came simple cells, which evolved into larger and larger creatures, splitting into sub species, then making us. I'm an atheist....

10 RepliesPeople have a right to believe what they want and I respect that. Religion serves as a great boost to the conscience and gives people a sense of belonging, some people need that and I can respect that. Scientific views give people the logical sense of understanding that people might need as well that I too have respect for. I sit in a middle ground that I know for sure that I'm not alone in. There really isn't enough information out there convince myself and others of anything. There is truly not enough evidence to support any claims of our purpose or existence or how we got here and why we have what we have. It's too early in humanity's existence to know the truth, obviously, because if there was a real truth then all people would believe it because it would be one hundred percent proven as the superior truth. Humanity is searching and grasping on to anything that could explain itself. We need to accept that we just don't know for sure yet why and how we're here and just sit in the middle ground because this constant battle of narrow minded people and their beliefs is ripping us apart. These battles between ideals will wreck our societies, governments, nations and eventually humanity itself, and we can see it starting up from small communities like this forum or even bigger things like the world. The only solution is to see evenly and accept that we just simply don't know. OR We can continue to hate and kill one another until there is no one left to express any thought, feeling or idea.

If there is no viable evidence then it is a hypothesis, it cannot be refuted because it is just a thought, you can't even test or observe a hypothesis on the existence of a divine entity. It cannot be proven and therefore cannot be disproven, that is why it is a belief and not in any way factual

If you (thou :p )chose to believe in god Then only you can feel if it's real or not. Go with the book all ur church members/friends/family read. There is a higher power out there, and it most likely doesn't care about humanity and is an asshole. 2. Christianity is not real, Jesus was not the son of god FACT. All you have to do is look at the history and you'll know this to be true. After all what's the best way to get Pagans to convert? Yep make your main dude a demigod. 3. None of today's main religions stand a chance at being the real one, logically they have not been around long enough to have true roots in the birth of humanity. You can't prove he exists but you can't prove he doesn't exist. Same with the bible. You can't prove its fact, but you can't prove its fiction, but that doesn't mean it's safe to quote the bible. Why? Because it's a 6000 year old book that really has no credibility.
