How do you do it! I've been trying
-
I'm not going to tell you it's easy. Because it's not . What I did when I was first starting out, I would constantly tell myself I'm in bed . I'm in bed . I'm in bed. I'm in a barn ..... No wait a minute . I also would repeat a math equation and when I started to get the answer incorrect I would know I was asleep. Also I would do brain activities . Trivia and meditation helped me out. What's even more frustrating is the first few times you gain the knowledge that you are sleeping it scares you awake. Oh yeah it took me about 2 years to fully get the ability so don't get discouraged . It'll happen as long as you make an effort .

Ugh okay, I'll keep trying. I have nightmares quite frequently abd I've heard that if you can lucid dream the nightmares Stop. Hopefully I'll get lucky and I've day succeed in doing it!
-
Lucid dreaming will definitely stop the nightmares . You can manipulate everything . Gravity can stop working , air in space, eat the moon like a waffle. To be honest it's not about luck . It's about preparation .
-
Hmm I'll definitely start meditating. The sooner I can lucid dream the sooner I can finally rest!
-
Nightmares are the same reason why I started. It'll change your life for the better. I promise.
-
This sounds interesting. I guess this is what I've been trying to do but didn't know it had a name.

It's super awesome when you learn how to do it. Skeptics will have their doubts by saying you are really awake. But if I see it, acknowledge it , remember it , change it, it's real to me .

Edited by ScattyJester: 4/19/2015 7:09:42 PMI have just made another post regarding my dreams and the sleep paralysis that I suffer from in this thread. Then I googled lucid dreaming. It seems that I am already capable of lucid dreaming and is a major cause of my sleep paralysis. Who knew? If you see it, have a read. Just about to post a paragraph from the wiki which is almost identical to what I wrote about my experience.

Link to post???

Should be at top of thread.

Don't know how to link to my post. Here's link to wiki that I read afterwards. http://m.wikihow.com/Lucid-Dream
