It's time to consider REWORKING Gjallarhorn.
This is not a NERF. at Least not to the damage output of Gjallarhorn.
We have to remove tracking. BUT improve the wolf pack rounds range.
what would replace tracking? I considered the "Gernades and Horseshoes" perk, but I'm rejecting it since people are already petitioning off the proximity effect of gjallarhorn.
I joked to myself about mulligan but that's a horrible perk that shouldn't exist.
I concluded it should be either [u][i][b]Tripod[/b] or [b]Surplus. [/b][/i][/u]
Edit: With surplus, you wouldnt ever have to worry about heavy ammo. picking up 3-4 with every crate. With Tripod you'd be even more dangerous in PVP and I'll argue even more useful in raids.
Consider this, gjallarhorn already has great velocity. Why do you really need tracking? Is it because you like the feel of not having to aim? You hate dun-firing?

gally already has proximity...if you don't believe me go in to Crota and get to the shrieker part and zoom in out while your in the tunnel and if there's a thrall in front of you it'll blow up

5 Repliesjust STFU.. if anything tracking should be replaced with ADVANCED tracking.. it should be buffed to 3 rounds in the mag.. and the wolfpack rounds should be increased to 12 and the perk should be relabeled "the dirty dozen".

Tracking is for when the thing you're firing at can dodge a macross missile massacre and even if half of it hits, won't go down (6/12 HoC) Im lookin at you Crota, [spoiler]and his dāmmed +1 damage resist[/spoiler] My only homing rocket is 300 damage and i can't even get legendary launchers to drop for me Im going to reroll every rocket i get in HoW to be either tracking or cluster bombs

We have advance so much in technology, a rocket w/o tracking is stupid, all rockets should be able to track enemy.

1 ReplyGhorn is flawless even with its proximity problem. How about you make useful post on a weapon that does need work. Necrochasm, no land beyond, fixing assault rifles, bad juju, hardlight, dragons breath....those are weapons that actually need work.
