HoW is in main a patch release that you are paying for
Ignore the hype and the justified anger of players at the lack of a new raid, something that has been promised to be included, the only new content included in the HoW is a couple of story levels and a new strike all of which will be done in less than 2 hours, yes there is that new mode of play but as a pve player its looking rather worthless so far, the rest of the changes upgrades to gear is just a patch, what's next for the dlc, pay £20 to change the way they look

22 RepliesEdited by XxnatonxX: 5/11/2015 10:02:00 PMFunny how no one ever complains that with games like Battlefield and cod you're paying about £12.50 for 4 new maps with every dlc, but as soon as Destiny comes along with: - 4 Crucible maps - 3-5 story missions - 1 strike - Prison of elders PvE event - Trials of Osiris PvP event - Loads of new armor and guns then charges £20/$20 you all lose your shit, amazing, truly amazing, not to say that Destiny doesn't even have all those smaller dlc's such as gun camo's or upgrades.

1 ReplyI thought the coolest thing in the reveal was all the stuff in the Reef reveal about new progression and bringing old gear forward. Funny enough, most of that was indeed patchwork and didn't require the DLC. POE is fine, and I have little hope for the 5 story missions, and hope the Strike is fun. But its certainly not worth the portion of the expansion pass I picked up.

It's a video game, not a cold case your trying to find more conspiracy's to. I hate Destiny, but you know what I still play cause it's better then Call of Duty and all these other crappy games coming out. The developers have worked their asses off to make all of you at least a bit happy. Their not god, they cant just grant you your wish of the perfect game. Your lucky the expansion pass was $34.99, instead of $49.99. Quit bitching because your only starting dumb petty arguments that aren't needed. It is a god damn video game. To play for a couple hours, to grind and that's it. Calm the hell down or don't buy the DLC and don't play or buy the next Destiny game coming out. Jesus it's like watching a group of kids try to settle who ate the last cookie.

2 RepliesAll the years of paying for COD DLC I got 4 new maps for $15 each time.... That's it. I enjoyed playing the game with friends, so it was totally worth it to me. With this Destiny DLC, for $20 we get: - Prison of Elders (PVE) - Trials of Osiris (PVP) - The Reef (Social area) - 3 or so story missions - 3 new multiplayer maps - 1 new strike - Tons of new weapons & gear To me that seems like a lot of stuff for $20! I guess if you don't like the game you just don't like it and will find anything to put it down. If you don't like it, that's fine you don't have to. But don't try to drag others down with you that do enjoy it. Simply play another game :)
