I paid for a new raid, not a new strike.
"Arena" is a fancy word for "strike with no path to follow."
Don't get me wrong, I like new story content, and hell, I like new strikes, too, but would I pay 20 bucks for it if old content is going to be upgraded? Probably not. Raids are the fun part of the end game. Not putting a new raid on content that A LOT of people have already paid for is just kind of immoral. Just call it a patch, not an expansion. The only thing it seems to be expanding is a side note on a story that no one understands, and unlocking content that is already on the game, just has been withheld from players. Bungie, I'm a fan, but I would be lying if I said this didn't piss me off.
tl;dr
It's not right to hype up an expansion and not put a raid in it, AFTER people have paid for it.

There will probably be a new raid coming in summer. If not, Im still fine. HoW is a great dlc, especially for PvP players. I can still understand you complaining though.

They are keeping us from leaving by making us wait for the next raid and it is also cheaper for them to not make one. So they want our money (since day one) more than our satisfaction Go to Bdobbinsftw on youtube and look for his why not to buy the dark below video it explains everything about bungie much better. This guy legit explains it perfectly and just opens bungie's plans on screwing us over.

I play raids all the time but if they make prison of elders like fire fight on halo then I'm game I loved fire fight plus why is everyone judging the dlc before you have even had a chance to play it don't judge a book by its cover u might be surprised and your still getting a raid it's coming out later so stop moaning and wait for it to come out

1 ReplyMate one thing bungie never said that there will be a raid on every expansion they state new content will be with each new expansion any way i love raids dont get me wrong but i am glad to see this because when comet hits there will i bet be a raid and another horde mode. I am stocked to see how destiny plays out over the next ten years

I suspect the raid is ready to go but Bungie have pulled it for their own reason? Probably a marketing decision in my opinion. A lot of people are talking like they work for Bungie, saying "officially released" photos and the like, the fact is I think most people would have ASSUMED that a new raid would be in HOW when they paid for it.
