Why do players say PvE?
It isn't player versus everyone? It's player versus monster. Just odd.

Need to think like a designer. A environment is a challange a player needs to beat. NPC jumping puzzles traps etc. Bad guys are just part of the entire environment. My English sucks hope that made sense

5 RepliesPositioning yourself in an advantageous fashion is 90% of the battle, that's why it's Player VS Environment. In games like Runescape PvM is more easily applied because of the simplicity of the game, it's you vs a monster.

As you have been flamed enough... You're fighting the enemy, the terrain layout, the objects of encounters, shriekers/walls, over soul, confluxes timers, jump puzzle, spite formation, bridge formation( if you don't cheese). So there's much environment to engage against
