Why do players say PvE?
It isn't player versus everyone? It's player versus monster. Just odd.

1 ReplyBecause "environment" refers to the world you play in. So that means anything you're doing or fighting while in the non-Crucible (PvP) environment. The word "versus" doesn't always imply that you're actually fighting something. It just means you're participating in any activity in the game. You don't have to take every single word literally, it's just a term that MMO players have been using for decades.

1 ReplyI didn't understand the term PvE either. I used to play RuneScape and eveyone referred to it as Player vs Monster or PvM. Your not the only one.
