People who heavy ammo glitch annoy me.
Their is nothing worse than having a tight schedule and trying to complete everything you need to do. In this situation. Hard crota. Even with 2 players who are not that good, hard crota should be done 1st or 2nd time. As i run sword the rest of the team only have to down him.
I hate getting into a game and 2 or 3 people take 5 mins doing the heavy ammo glitch. Then sometimes they turn around and do it wrong. Xur has sold enough heavy for everyone to have some in their inventory. Dont join a team if your not prepared enough to play.
Their should be a separate thread for people who actually have enough time to do the glitch and wait around when it goes wrong.
Does this annoy anyone else?
EDIT 1. I can not wait for this glitch to be fixed. I can not believe how many of you are actually for people using this method. How can you join people raids then expect them to wait around for you while you glitch. Unreal.

If I'm in a group that keeps wiping I'm doing it. I can't keep shooting 2 or 3 rockets at the Swordbearer and 2 at Crota. Yes, everyone should have plenty of synthesis, but it has a five minute cool down. When we're wiping every 1-2 minutes on Normal, because of brain malfunctions I'm not going to waste my money. I use No Land Beyond which only takes about 10 seconds. I know what you mean though. I've been in groups where people use an Auto Rifle to empty their primary slot and an LMG to try and empty their heavy. I told the guy 3 times he could just switch weapons to get rid of his heavy ammo. He just kept firing. I refuse to wipe, because the Swordbearer was killed too slowly or Crota wasn't hit with enough firepower. If It appears things are not going off the rails I'll pop a heavy for Ogres, because people don't kill them fast enough sometimes. Crota's end has enough glitches that make it more difficult. Why not use one that can make it easier if it can be done quickly? This is usually only a problem when I join a group of 31s with non-maxed out rockets, who don't know the raid mechanics and won't listen to any advice or constructive criticism.

6 RepliesWhat u fail to realize is without it ppl wont double up on rockets and sometimes that's the difference between a wipe. Secondly heavy smmo synth regen time is 5mins what happens when u used a synth and wiped and are on timer? Exactly. Ppl need to learn to use a no land beyond it takes me 10 seconds aproximatly. Don't exaggerate the heavy smmo glitch time please. At least my team gets it done first time everytime using the glitch:)

4 RepliesNo it doesn't annoy me. I have plenty of synths but still use the glitch and the more doing it the better. Gjallarhorn shots at swordbearer he goes down quick before he can run off. Guy running sword is happy. Two shots each at crota (overkill maybe but he f*cks down). Guy running sword is happy. Rockets at ogres (again they f*ck down). Everyone is happy. Run back and grab some more. Good times. [b]ROCKETS ROCKETS ROCKETS LOOT LOOT LOOT[/b] Makes life that much easier and all for having to wait for less than a minute.

We timed it. With 3 or 4 rockets, and a word of crota it takes 44 seconds. You hop on the plate when the reserve is down to 40. Your tight schedule can't afford 44 seconds here or there? Or should I say "here or their"? Just trying to match your grammar.

I used to do the heavy ammo glitch frequently... now I'm doing it less, and less. Granted, that was when my wife and I would kill Crota by ourselves. I hear you about trying to run Crota on a tight schedule. All it takes is a couple of wipes, and a team trying to heavy glitch every time, to turn a 10 minutes max fight, into a solid hour of boredom and frustration. All you can really do though is tell them you are on a schedule, and if it doesn't work, leave...

I'm so sick of having to wait around while scrubs glitch their way through the final boss fight. That's not enough rockets to beat Crota hard efficiently as possible, especially if the people you're playing with don't have good rocket launchers. Everything takes longer. If you do the glitch you have unlimited rockets not only for Crota, but for the sword bearer and ogres. It's actually much more efficient and, in turn, time friendly if you're in a rush. No one is stingy with their rockets this way. I have over 300 heavy synths spread across my three characters and I still do the glitch. It's not about saving synths

This. During the drought it made sense and I was fine with waiting but there's no excuse now. Especially in hard mode, you shouldn't be there if you're not to the point that purple ermo is absurdly over stocked.

Solution: use universal remote or NLB for ammo glitch. Takes thirty seconds. I hate people that pull out their auto rifle and take ten minutes to drain it.

If they are taking five minutes to do the heavy ammo glitch, they are doing it wrong. More likely you are exaggerating. I'll drop a heavy to start with a group of randoms. If the swordbearer is iffy or guys do stupid stuff and let boomers kill them I'm doing the heavy ammo glitch so i can make up for their weakness.

true it can take some time but if you use no land beyond or hand cannons it takes less time. Besides having alot of heavenly purple boxes drop doesnt hurt. Besides while emptying your rounds you can get to know your team which can help to build some team support and morale. I have a bunch of synths but whenever we join a hard mode team we always opt to do the glitch not because we have to, because we can and it saves a lot of headache if your team is struggling.

I always do the glitch because I hate waiting for synth and it's the only use for no land beyond. Plus with my ruin wings and corrective measure every ammo drop has 6-7 rockets. Pretty much unlimited gallys. Just play with people who know how.
