Best thing is to glimmer farm at the excursion zone on Mars, then go to the vanguard quartermaster by the shipwright and buy the green armor piece for 250.

Yep. 100 mats for 25000 glimmer. Thats basically the best way.

It is IMO. Sometimes the green piece will shard into 2 mats too. You can get max glimmer in 30min-1hr if you do it w/a friend, run past the first drop ship straight to the second one, one do their super move to the yellow health legionaries on the left, the other do their super to the yellows on the right. Pick up each other's orbs, make sure all 9 yellows are dead, then go let the reds kill you both. Repeat. Also, be sure to pop resupply codes to max glimmer possibility, and stay close to your buddy as you both get kills so you both get glimmer from each other's kills. 475 glimmer per run. Once you get a rhythm going, a run can take 30-45 seconds.
